Thank you for posting the LV videos.
Very emotional. Never say never, but for me at least, I cannot imagine I will ever see Dee again in such wonderful circumstances. The anxiety on the very first night, wondering how she would perform, turning to near panic as a delay was announced! Had Dee bottled out? But then the happiness on realising after only a few minutes, that in the part of LV at least, she was a natural actress, then the amazement at the power of her singing. The pride of being a fan as the whole audience rose as one to give the cast the first of many standing ovations. The pain of seeing her leave the stage for the last time on the last night.....

So within the next 10-15 minutes.

I so hope they do playlist it. If they do, all the other radio stations will follow. And hopefully more TV play too.

Hmmm i'm trying not to be sceptical.

"Once" was question on Ken Bruce's Pop Master quiz on R2 this week. Perhaps it might have brought it to their notice. I would much prefer her on R2, that's where the more "serious" artists like Ellie, Melua, Lissie etc are played and reach a wider audience. Some of her slower numbers would go down very well there.

Is it a song-writing deal or a book deal? I would have assumed it was like an autobiography if it was a publishing deal but The Sun talks about how she can "pen a tune" or whatever.

Its a music publishing deal. Music companies like EMI, Sony< Universal have their recording arms and their publishing arms. Her recording contract is with Sony but she has signed a music publishing deal with Universal who will collect royalties etc for when any songs which are used for adverts,films, tv etc

It's not too clear, but it looks as if it is an evening concert while the England match is in the afternoon.
Would be a disaster if everyone was watching football and not Dee.
