Wish we could just find out what is happening with this new album. Been pushed back a few times now

I know, but it's not like an album date has actually been released. I just think she's struggling to find a label.

Not sure if i like that demo tbh, its quite good but her voice sounds better on the synthy-pop tunes she's released!

Add to this we are having tracks previewed online, the latest being Low. At this rate, once Diana does release her 2nd album there will be few if any undiscovered tracks anymore.

My mention of the word "once" in the above sentence was purely accidental btw!

I find it hard to believe no one will sign her. The tracks she is previewing are too song for a label to turn down and Diana has already proved herself as a seller.

It makes no sense to me.

There are rumours Diana has signed with Virgin but the album is on hold due to some sort of lyrical/rights battle with RCA.

I guess this is why its all gone so quiet. Hope the issue is resolved soon as sometimes these battles can take years to sort out.

Hopefully thats true! guess we'll just have to wait it out for now.

That is what someone who works for a music site has told me. I think its true as he told me about Aiden's deal a month ago. He claims Diana's new deal hasn't been officially announced yet because some of the songs Diana has/wants on this second album were recorded under RCA so they can claim rights to them or something. Until its sorted nothing can be released officially. I guess this also explains the comments from the guy who uploaded ''Low'' to Youtube has been saying on there.

She posted this video today. Says she's still excited for the album. I'm guessing that rumour is right as if there's legal issues, she wont be able to say much. Strange though, as when Diana left RCA she struck a deal with them to have all the songs she's recorded. Maybe they're getting pissy as the new material has had a very good response from those who have heard.

Yeah I thought she had a deal which allowed her to take songs with her as well.

Either way at least she confirms herself its still happening. Looks like she might be in a recording studio. MJ's History is on the wall in the background.

I think whatever dispute was going on, is resolved. Diana tweeted a few days ago that more music is soon. She hasn't tweeted about music in a LONG time so I think that's a good sign.

Right, lets hope that this is the start of something. It's been far to long. I don't even care if the album is a complete bomb flop anymore, I just want to hear new Diana.

Diana is doing Word theatre event on Wednesday in central London near the Strand/Covent Garden. Tickets available on door. She is doing similar thing at Lattitude festival in July

Everyone's jumping ship on this project. That's 3 producers who have leaked songs. Producers don't do that unless they're incredibly frustrated with the artist/record label messing them about.

This isn't going to end well and I doubt we'll ever get this album.
