Fav new british act of the year. Love them and if you knew me you would be wondering why the hell i would like a band like this. I suprise myself in the new music that comes out these days.

Yeah, I'm really surprised at some of the hate they get on message boards that I've visited. Florence is a great singer and they have all worked hard this year.

Love the entire album. Best purchase of the year.
My faovurite swould have to be Cosmic Love, My Boy Builds Coffins and Howl. But then I think every track on it is brilliant. Though I've been listening to Florence and the Machine for more than a year now

I've only had the album for about 2 weeks and I have to say it's a top class piece of work. Drumming Song is probably my fave and I enjoyed watching them at Reading via BBC's coverage.

I saw her at the Hop Farm this year, I'd not heard of her before that. They were on the radio, covering that 'you got the love' song. The singer sounds like someone torturing a cat. Utterly appalling.
