I loved Crazy Little Thing Called Love for Leon, it was the first BIG performance he'd given where he looked entirely comfortable on stage, and I loved his dancing
Can't believe its two years ago now, its mental.![]() Yeah, Leon has come so far since then and as Michael Buble said ' There's still more in his tank'.

Do keep popping in. ![]() I am in such agreement with YL...having seen Leon live a good bit over the last year....it's safe to say the kid has really emerged as a fabulous live singer.

Definitely. I love listening to Leon singing live. He is such a great live singer.
![]() The measure of real talent, being a great live artist, I'd say. Well, I spent the evening with Dermot Mulroney yesterday (I wish ). I watched The Wedding Date with the three helpings of Michael Buble on the soundtrack. The closing credits roll to 'Home' which was odd because I now think of that as Leon's song. . And much as I adore Mr Buble, I prefer Leon's version with his strong, more assertive vocals. Well, the two of them at Wembley is probably my favourite version - Wow.

In fact anything Leon covers is always the best version to me. ![]() On saying that I still think Michael is a great singer and am very much looking forward to seeing him on tour in May. ![]()

LOL That is how I first 'found' Michael Buble. I was watching The Wedding Date and heard this great voice singing these gorgeous songs in the background. I could hardly wait for the credits to roll and find out who it was and went straight on the net afterwards to look him up. haha I bought the album not long after.
For me, I was sort of, stunned into submission after watching Mr Buble performing 'Fever' some years ago and have been fairly hypnotised ever since! Quote:

![]() To me, his voice, is loaded with soul, passion, honesty, strength, masculinity, protectiveness.... sorry, waxing lyrical a bit, but its difficult to articulate. There's a few videos of Mr Buble & Leon performing Lost (I'm sure you've seen them all - many times ) but my favourite ishttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-u18...eature=related I just love the way the audience explodes with love & appreciation as soon as Leon starts to sing. .And I adore watching the unspoken communication between the two of them as they work out the harmonies, Leon asking for the lower part on the first chorus & then going for the higher one in the second chorus - fabulous! Mr Buble is wonderfully supportive & Leon just shines - knockout. Quote:

No comparison whatsoever. Very similar BF 'dance' routine. When will they get rid of that guy?

A bit unfair on Lloyd as no one is going to better Leon anytime soon.

hello guys - just popping in to say hi.
I keep forgetting this thread is here - not sure moving the Appreciation Threads is such a good idea. What's the latest on Leon? Any live performances coming up?

Hey guys long time no see hey!
Just thought i would jump in here about Lloyd for what its worth i think the kid has a nice tone - quite unusual but its way underdeveloped far more than Leons. Its taken me a while but ive come to the conclusion that as fab as Leons voice is and his tone which is devine his voice needs development as does he as a singer. I hope he sticks at it because in a few years this guy could be amazing. |

Any live performances coming up?I don't like the appreciation threads being stuck in a separate forum. I don't look at the main XF Forum as much as I used to. It's full of threads with daft titles and only a few posts in each. Some are quite funny to read, but I still preferred it when the appreciation threads and the longer, more serious 'discussion' threads dominated the main forum. |

Just to be clear on my previous post I was stating that i hoped Leon stuck with it as I think with development he could be amazing in a few years.
That development would never have happened with Cowell so its all good as far as I can see. |
