I was out shopping yesterday and suddenly I heard the mellifluous tones of young Mr Jackson singing When You Believe, being played throughout the 'designer village'. God, it sounded good among all the dross that was being played. Not my favourite Leon song, but when you hear it unexpectedly after not having heard it for a while, it sounds very classy indeed.

Aww, that's great Lulu. It's the singer that makes the song for me! I always get a kick out of it when I hear him played anywhere (which is little too often ).

Always good to hear WYB. Almost two years ago since Leon won and the LJAT almost combusted lol I rooted for Shayne (still really like him) - but it'll always be Leon for me as far as the X Factor goes. With Pop Idol it was (and still is) Gareth ...

Anyway, back to Mr J. Shouldn't be long until the new website is up-and-running. Proud of Leon for not giving up on his musical career. The best is still to come

I had to go to a meeting in my organisation's HQ today and there he was, Leon on a tall advert thing - pic of him at the Paisley Xmas lights switch on. There was also one of Sandi Thom. Nice one.....not Lemar or Ruth Lorenzo (who sang this year).

I was delighted.

Hello (aka Leonissimo)

Lovely to be able to see Creative again.

Patiently waiting for Leon's new website:twiddling thumbs, hopping from leg to leg, staring into space, playing solitaire, doodling hearts and flowers.....eating a Mars Bar- chocolate first, then caramel, then that bottom bit...pulling legs off spiders(only joking).

How does everyone else cope?

Bliddy right there, FC.

I tell ta though....I was well chuffed when I saw Leon's pic (at the top.....the biggest pic) on that display thing today. I was smiling the whole time while I was waiting to go to my meeting. There are few thousand employees passing through there on many days.....

Any truth in that nasty post about Leon singing a pub tonight. Not that there is anything wrong with pub gigs, its just the tone of the post.

Nowt wrong with performing in pubs. I'm more concerned about the drinks thrown over him. i hope that isn't true.

Doubt its true.

If you check the OPs previous posts you'll see he's far from a fan of Leon. Which if nothing else begs the question why he'd bother to turn up at a Leon gig (if there was one) never mind pay to get in ...

Well, I'm not going to bring that awful thread forwards by posting there, so I'll just add here:

Detestable, Bullyboy Xanthoprats

of the highest magnitude, are probably best ignored.

Has anyone checked Leon's popularity ratings for Right Now on Spotify - the lad can hold his head high.

I usually use the CD in the numpty-mobile & Spotify through the hi-fi in the hoose, but the figures can't all be me, surely!

And Right Now sales are now very close to 200K

http://www.worldwidealbums.net/artist.htm

(Wikipedia seems a bit out of date with album sales. Maybe someone has a wiki account & can update?)

The lad's doing great and not long until the new website is up & running. Can't wait to hear the new music he's been working on. It's all good.

That post is clearly a fabrication designed to denigrate Leon and provoke FMs - also known as trolling.

I see the Leon thread has plenty of replies and is still going strong. Strange for an artist who often gets 'forgotten' about and is referred to as "Leon who?"

On the night of this year's semi-final, too.

Two years later and they can't move on.

Well, LEON has moved on and has shown grace and no bitterness since he left Syco. He's keeping his head down and is working hard on his music. The sign of a true professional.

Well, things don't change any on DS do they? Trolls galore!!

tbh I wouldn't care if was performing in a pub as long as he didn't get the kind of reception.

Anyways, Leon was online reading his sites practically all evening and making the odd comments to posters while he was alledgedly supposed to be 'performing'.
