I'm not looking forward to tonight's final. I can't see there being a "shock" result. Joe is so obviously going to win tonight. He's been getting 50% of the vote and more in many polls.

X Factor 4 was the best Partly because the underdog of the three acts unexpectedly won - and partly because that underdog was Leon!

I agree with you CC, I can't be bothered with it, I'm taping it to watch later on (if I feel like it). Be glad when it's all over, we've got more important things to be excited about, like Leon's lovely, shiny, new website.

I tell ya folks, put Leon on the XF, as he is singing now and with what he is singing now, and he'd shine out next to out two finalists tonight. No harm to Joe, he's lovely but I couldn't listen to a CD of his. Not with his vibrato and he's a little high pitched for the kinda male voice I tend to like.

I'm sure Leon will be doing more of mixing songs in the future. I love the way he has added Can't take my Eyes off of You to the end of Stargazing. It's just lovely.

On the BBC breakfast show on Friday, they had Same Difference and some woman from Heat magazine on to talk about the X Factor final. Much was made of Olly's duet with Robbie, the suggestion being that it would give him the edge over the other finalists. The male presenter then said to SD 'I can't remember, did you have duets the year that you were in the final?' SD said 'Yes, we had Jason Donovan, Rhydian had Katherine Jenkins, and Leon had Kylie.' Presenter said 'Oh yes, Kylie. Do you think she won it for Leon, then?' SD said, 'No. Leon sang very well. He sang all three songs very well. The best person won.' (They didn't say it in unison, of course. One said it and the other repeated 'Yes, the best person won.') I am no fan of SD, but I was very pleased to hear them say that, especially when they were being led to say otherwise.

There seemed to be a lot of the 'Kylie won it for Leon' rubbish going about the forum yesterday. Makes my teeth gnash! Leon was amazing in the final, full stop.

PS I loved MB & Stacey's duet - class!

That is good to hear as they weren't that complimentary about Leon in a recent interview.

Ohh I never saw that interview with SD, what did they say about our Leon?

Since Leon was in X Factor it has never been the same for me, no more excitement and nervous tension. It's a bit sad really, but at least Leon lived the dream of winning and all the ups and downs that came with it and it has just made him more focused and determined to succeed and I think he will he has never given up on his dream and all this experience will help him along the way.

Does anyone know if Leon still shares a flat with Andy in London? we never hear much about his personal life and I'm nosey

Yeah, it's never been the same for me too! Leon was a one off and I don't think I will ever feel the same again about anyone else, at least not on the Xfactor. No one can touch him in my eyes.

Pleased for Joe, as I think he's a better singer than Olly, but he's not Leon! I rooted for Leon and was a nervous wreck on the night of the final! Leon wasn't the favourite to win, so it was an amazing and very emotional feeling when he did! Joe was well ahead in the voting during the latter part of this series and there was no element of surprise when his name was called out tonight. I think we all more or less knew what was coming.

DS has been fairly quiet since Joe's win. This place was full of nastiness and "FIX!" threads when Leon won, so we stayed in the shelter of the LJAT and celebrated Leon winning. I wish that ITV had published the winning percentage immediately after the show, like they're doing now.The bitterness and complaints to Ofcom after X Factor 4 clouded Leon's win for him.

I agree with much of what cute chick says about how so many thing marred Leon's win for him.

I am pleased for Joe though.....I just find him one of the nicest young people ever to have come on the XF. I think he's like another wee scone. He's a very competent and technically good singer but he's a little too high pitched for my personal taste...and he still trills too much.

Best of luck to the kid and I genuinely hope that he doesn't experience the same fate as Leon did in working with Syco.

I guess for us, we have come through quite a bit in our loyalty to Leon. But, hey...it's done and that's that.

And things are looking good for Leon, as mysterious as ever, but I'm sure things will start to get less misty when the new site is up and running.

Us Leon fans have certainly come through a lot but I for one have enjoyed the last two years and met lots of friends here on DS as a result.

I'm looking forward to 2010 as I think it holds good things for Leon.

I'm going to be away a lot over Christmas and the New year and may not get on here much so can I take this opportunity to wish you and all other Leon supporters a very Happy Christmas and I must not forget Leon .... enjoy Christmas Leon and Happy Birthday when it comes
