Leon has gone to the Great Scot of The Yea Awards tonight, He's been nominated bless!
He did well to get shortlisted though!
Anyways he is attending a nice gala dinner so even if he doesn't win I'm sure he will have a fab night.
I love his News items, most of which he writes himself. You only have to read them to know which ones he has written. They are so sweet

Leon is delighted to have been nominated for The Johnny Walker Blue Label Great Scot Award 2011 alongside great Scottish names such as Sir Alex Ferguson, Sir Chris Hoy, Billy Connolly, Robbie Coltrane, Andrew Fairlee, Edith Bowman, Tom Kitchin, The Rt Hon Charles Kennedy, Duncan Bannatyne and Ronnie Corbett. He will be attending the gala dinner and award ceremony, on May 4th in central London. Last year’s winner of this prestigious award, was Jack Vettriano, was presented with his “bottle” by the inaugural winner Sir Jackie Stewart, who won the prestigious award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to Scotland ahead of fellow nominees including author Ian Rankin, singer Sharleen Spiteri, television presenter Kirsty Young and former Scottish rugby player Kenny Logan.
The evening will be hosted by the Scottish journalist, editor and television presenter Andrew Neil and Scottish media magnate and Managing Director of City A.M. Lawson Muncaster. The Great Scot Awards will be presented by past Great Scots Sir Jackie Stewart and Jack Vettriano.
The Great Scot panel, which includes Lawson Muncaster, Andrew Neil, Paul Walsh Chief Executive Diageo PLC and Ranald Macdonald younger of Clanranald, will select the winner with careful consideration, and will be pleased to announce The Great Scots 2011 on the night, from a shortlist of nominees.”
