Leon is performing at Ayr Xmas Lights switch on 18th November.

Finally they have used a pic of him from a recent photoshoot instead of the usual circa 2007 pics! lol

"Organic" is a clichéd word, but Leon Jackson's slow and stealthy gestation into an artist of genuine note has nevertheless been just that. When you hear his songs, you realise it could never really have gone any other way.

From the Ayr blurb

I hope someone catches his performances during the Ayr Christmas lights switch on and puts it on YouTube so we can get a new taster of what's to come. Dying to get my hands on his new material! From what I've heard so far it's outstanding.

Hi AJ
Hopefully some or one of those who are going will manage to get near enough to take some video footage. I'll post a link on here if I see anything from there.

Found this video from when Leon was at Strathclyde. I wish it wasn't so noisy so we could hear him properly.

Cover of Paolo Nutini's Tricks Of TheTrade.

Ooh, Zip, controversial - but I agree on all points. Our Leon never was teacher's pet, was he?

Thanks for posting this. It's a bit of a lacklustre version of a fun song, in my view. Nevertheless, it's great to hear Leon's lovely voice. I only wish there were far more opportunities. I still think Leon's voice, as untutored as it was when we first heard it, was the best new voice I had heard in many years, and I still don't think I have heard one that comes close since.

I feel exactly the same Lulu g. There is no one with a voice as beautiful and unique as Leon's IMO.
