Is it my imagination or were the song choices more varied and imaginative back when Leon was a contestant.

For example until it was featured on X-factor I'd never heard "A Song For You"

I think over the past few years contestants have been lucky to be able to sing songs that that are current which gives the public a better idea who they would like to hear in the charts. Unfortunately Leon was given mainly Michael Buble style swing songs, and although they suited his voice he wasn't given the chance to sing anything current and show his true versatility.

I am having to restrain myself from posting in the main forums - if I see one more time that Nicholas is like Leon, I will scream. Grrrrrrrr!!!!

Ditto Zip They are poles apart.....in almost every way The only likeness they share is a Scottish accent!

Me and my older sister are nothing like each other in looks, height, weight, colouring or personality but when people find out we are sisters we are always told how alike we are...which we both find infuriating! lol

I know - I don't like to be horrid about that kid, but he's just a competent singer to me. That's all. If I were to hear him on the radio, he wouldn't stand out as distinctive in any way...whereas Leon's voice quality and tone is his and his alone.

On a more superficial note, our lad is waaaaaaay prettier too.
