Leon and Ernie were incredible in Edinburgh last week. So glad I finally was able to see him live.

I'm inclined to agree, although I do think Paul Akister is very good.

Hi all....just thinking of how things have changed on the XF since the better old days....

Was watching the various train crashes last week (although I like Paul) and could not help think of Rhydian when Stevie (jings) was doing his Phantom number...I can honestly say that Rhydian would have done that so much better. But then, so would I....

Me too Zip.🙉 lol

I still watch it out of habit more than interest. It just seems to get worse every year. Anyone I like never gets through to live show I tape it but am usually way behind as cant be bothered to watch it. The judges must all be tone deaf, and are quick to critcise other acts but can't be honest about their own, no matter how bad they are! I don't know anyone these days who actually votes for any of the acts.
I can

This from Leon's last FM page not sure when it was updated or by who

Leon Jackson, 23 (born 30 December 1988), is a Scottish singer/songwriter. The 2007 X-Factor winner has recently divided his time between, Glasgow, London and LA writing and developing a new acoustic driven sound. Working with producers and song-writers on the LA music scene whilst incorporating a Scottish folk twist, a nod to his roots, has really opened Leon’s eyes to the potential sound he can now craft.

Jackson has won recognition for his warm, evocative vocals and unique charisma. With his distinctive voice and this new sound Leon is embarking on something fresh, this time it’s original, acoustic and full of honest soul.

Crafting songs that uncover the last few years’ life, love and dreams Leon hopes to make music that ‘speaks’ to people. Selling out his recent ‘Live and Acoustic’ tour confirms that his fans and the music public are loving his latest offerings.

“I’ve needed time to consolidate and make sense of everything I’ve experienced. I needed to fall in love with music again, this process has been slow and wrenching at times but I’m now feeling liberated and fulfilled for the first time with my work. Music is a conversation between the singer and the listener, and to that end the fans are the foundation of everything I do.”

I think its from Leon's website bio.

Just reading SB's book. Not really lol ....it's as I thought it would be. It just reiterates what I've always thought. SC and all those concerned with XF don't give a toss about how they treat/ hurt people in the name of entertainment and publicity.

Saw a comment on Facebook from someone who spoke to Leon recently. The guy said Leon was off to America late May for a wee stint, which sounds longer than a couple of weeks.

I expect that means everything will be on hold until Leon gets back. Hopefully he will be doing some songwriting/collaboration while he's over there.

As far as I can gather Leon's out there on an extended holiday with his gf, although she may be doing some work out there?

He did a couple of gigs with Ernie Halter in LA and San Diego but other than that he doesn't seem to have anything else lined up. I think he may be on his way back at the end if the summer.

Hi All
Not been on here for a good while coz not much has been happening on the Leo front.

He's been back from LA since September but apart from lots of pics from his time in US nothing has filtered through about any music/gigs etc. He's done a couple of personal ones I noticed though.

Anyways, I'm ever hopeful for a small tour and an ep release, O
but not expecting it to be this year now.

Hope you are all well xx

Hello yorkielass, hope you are well.

Thanks for letting us know about Leon spending time in Los Angeles.

I came across this article in the Daily Star about what he looks likes now but it (it is dated the 5th October) also says he has moved from Scotland to LA!

Hi thms
Nice to hear from you and hope all is well.

I dunno why people Inc the Daily Star think Leon is still in LA? Maybe its because he has been posting pics since he got back. I've seen and read a few things that indicate he is definitely back in the UK though. He was in London last week to see a friend from America perform there.

Leon seems very friendly with Elliott Yamin. Got a feeling they may have something lined up together in the future.

i'm well and i hope you are too. leon is looking great in his new photos. i tried to keep up with news about leon but he so low key with regards to what he does i thought he was semi-retired! elliott is a fantastic singer and i'm pleased for him that he has maintained his connections with the music industry. let me know more when you find out more. it be nice to see or hear leon taking part in something musical on television or radio in the uk as it has been such a long time. the main thing though is that he is happy and healthy..
