Thanks, lisalou. I've been prescribed an additional anti-convulsant. I feel more tired, but it's working very well

I was out on the main DS X Factor forum earlier on defending again! Some people are so rude and spiteful. I was insulted because I don't like Whitney Houston's voice very much and prefer Danyl. I'm not keen on any of the fog horn voiced "divas" I lost my temper after being called "idiotic", so decided to keep out of similar threads in the future. I don't want to become 'inactive'! It's bringing back the bad memories of the mauling poor Leon got on here in 2007/2008

I'm still loving Leon <3 I so wish that he could get another record deal. I feel that his talent is being wasted. He has a far better voice than many of the acts they play over and over in rotation on the radio. It's unfair.

Where have all the Leonardos gone? This thread used to be so lively.

Another mention of Leon here.

Westlife to sing on The X Factor

(UKPA) – 5 hours ago

Westlife are to appear on The X Factor later this month, it has been announced.

The boyband, who are managed by judge Louis Walsh, will perform their new single What About Now on the TV talent show on Sunday October 25.

Canadian singer Michael Buble will also be on the show, making his second appearance, and said: "It's great to be back in the UK again and on THE biggest TV show there is... I remember last time having such a laugh hanging out with Rhydian (Roberts) and Leon (Jackson) and the rest of the crew, all hugely talented and great fun to be with."

----------------------

I really like Michael Bublé Looks like we'll get some decent and constructive criticism from Westlife and Michael next week. Whitney Houston was shambolic last night. So embarrassing watching her mumbling at the floor

Hi Cute Chick. Looking forward to seeing Michael next week. I do hope Leo gets a chance to see him while he is in London.

You are right it has been quiet on this forum - perhaps its because Leon is not as active on Bebo / Twitter etc. as he was several months ago. I think you will see things change in the next few months

Waves to cute chick and YL. Thank you guys. As usual friendliest place on DS. Amazing support for Leon as well. Fantastic vocals from the live gig thingy in Dumfries. From what I hear, though dying to have a peak, blows Cole & Williams out of the water!

Yes, they certainly were fantastic vocals. I was one of the lucky ones that was there.

Sorry, I haven't been around on DS myself much lately. Had a lot of stuff to catch up with up at home. Still behind Leon 100% of course.

Morning folks

The song plays were a bit lower over the weekend but they are picking up again in nicely.

Really could do with another gig now. Starting to get withdrawal symptoms. LOL

I wish Leon would concentrate on promoting himself instead of others.

I understand and share your frustration Yorkielass.

My take on things is that Leon could be out performing at second rate venues / gigs any night of the week but he has obviously been advised - rightly in my opinion - to keep a low profile before relaunching his career hopefully early next year.

Like many of Leon's real fans I can't wait for him to release another album and start performing at gigs again but I think we will have to wait a little longer.

It would be helpful if Leon actually told us what his short to medium term plans are - that way we could kill all the speculation.

I know what you are saying Datman and I too think Leon is keeping a low profile for a particular reason.

I do think however that Leon still needs to keep a hand in with the gigs. He has only done a handful this year and IMO if he does intend to relaunch himself next year he needs to get as much experience behind him as he can before then.

I agree with this, DATMAN.

I'll always be a fan and fully intend to buy any records Leon releases. I have a favourite in this year's X Factor, but haven't forgotten Leon. I care for him deeply, and always will.

There's just not much to report at the moment...

Good point yorkielass.

I'm thinking that we might well find Leon being the supporting act to a major concert tour next year with an album released towards the end of the tour and a re-launch of his career.

A 15 -20 day tour of the UK should get him ready to launch on his own but I do see take your point.

Oh...I can't help feeling all nosey and excited reading your posts, DATMAN. I agree that supporting a well known act with a lot of dates would be just what Leon needs....oh, and it'll do that act no harm, since I would imagine our lad will draw in the crowds quite the thing.

Also! OMG......I went to see Fleetwood Mac last night in Glasgow. I cannot tell you how amazing, awesome and just utterly energetic that magical superband were.

I have now seen the magnificent Stevie Nicks live.....and I can die happy. I just adore Stevie Nicks.

Ahhhhh....what a fairy tale of a night.

I think Leon had (and still has) great potential. I don't think the songs he was given for the album were in any way up to the required standard. I believe that Leon can bounce back, but I think he should take a punt on an album of covers. He's one of those artists who needs to establish himself with familiar songs before he can go out into the big bad world of original material.

Also, and please don't take this the wrong way, but the live performances were bad for Leon around this time last year. Great recording voice, but he was like a dear in headlights when it cam to being on a stage. But hey that's nerves, and with experience and maturity I'm sure he'll remedy that.

Yes, he was nervous but WOW ! What a difference a few months later when he had his own tour Just watch when he gigs again - and with his own material - he just oozes class and real, true talent.

Another mention from Michael Bublé

Big Band week feature.

Michael seems to really like our Leon It would be amazing if Leon ever toured with him as a support act.

Glad you enjoyed Fleetwood Mac. Let's all hope that next year we can all go to a Leon Jackson concert in Glasgow

Hi lm77.

Leon just lacked confidence and was under a lot of pressure with that removed it is now onwards and upwards. I predict a bright future ahead for Leon and more importantly a great time for all his true fans.
