Great new vid from Freddie. Possibly his longest yet.

Going to see Kate again I see. Heard him mention that name on the BBBM reunion show.
To quote Monty Python "Know what I mean, say no more, nudge nudge, wink wink." ”

great video, thanks meglos;the fredster's in great form again, loved his ironic asides about having lots of experience of stress over the summer,so could more or less meditate on a washing line now!;would love to see the fredster become a candidate and win, instantly becoming the most interesting and charismatic back bench mp in the house of commons! i'm a dyed in the wool true red socialist myself, but theres great back bench mps from all 3 main parties, doing a great, tireless job for their local constituents;freddie would be like a breath of fresh air in the house[as he was in another house we know],a true standard bearer for truth, justice, fairness and humanity in general! watched planet of the daleks and frontier in space meglos, both utterly magnificent as you suggested!

Being stuck in a house with Lisa and Charlie would definitely inspire me to take up meditation, just to get some kind of escape from their tediousness.

I'm finding it hard to be interested in politics myself at the moment, due to the corruption of it all. Having Freddie involved in some way would be a bright spark in an otherwise dark landscape.

Frontier is a class story, with so much packed into it. Certainly deserving its 6 episodes, unlike some other 3rd Doctor stories *cough*
I think Planet was one of the first Doctor Who stories that I ever saw. I'm sure it was shown on BBC2 in 1993.
What were the first Dr Who stories that you ever saw?

(I'm finding this thread like a habit that is hard to give up. )

the first story i ever watched was the five doctors, which my uncle got for me on disc in '99;especially loved the fifth and second doctors in that, not to mention the master and the legendary raston warrior robot! next saw whatever my uncle had in his vhs who collection-revenge of the cybermen i think was the second story i saw;what bugged me then was how slowly the discs were released! only now do you feel theres been a decent number released! politics wise,i've far more respect for backbenchers who fight tirelessly for their constituents on local issues, this is a far more worthy and genuine calling than government IMO;freddie would be a fantastic addition to the house with his unique brand of 'celebrity'-he'd be reminiscent of lembit opik of the lib dems ,only far more box office

I think I've watched Five Doctors so many times I could act it out myself. I am almost sick of it. It is a very safe adventure afterall, which Tom Baker didn't help with since he refused to take part. But I could understand his logic, as he had given everything he had to Doctor Who for 7 years, and just when he had gotten away from it they ask him to reprise his role.
My cousin was into Doctor Who and had Genesis of the Daleks and Deadly Assassin on video, which I remember watching a long time ago. It was all very scary to me as a 7 year old. I know the Master in Deadly Assassin scared me.

Someone said that while Freddie is in Dublin, he is also seeing Noirin, Charlie, Kris ect.
Poor guy, what has he done to suffer that?

thats whats funny about me seeing the five doctors first, the master was a [relatively] nice guy in that,so i was never that scared of him until i eventually saw the deadly assassin;i remember being scared and amused at the same time by kroagnon's monster in paradise towers, lol 'HUUUNNNGGGRRRYYY!!!!!!!',surely in hindsight the funniest, craziest who monster ever! i really cant recommend big finish enough, for people like you and me who prefer the 1st 8 doctors, theyre a total godsend, even tom's getting a lot more involved now, along with veterans peter, colin, sylvester and paul, the quality of story really is as good as the tv show, and theres some really atmospheric stories too[which you mentioned you like],and its great to see great companions back enjoying their roles,eg peri, nyssa, turlough, ace etc, also some great new ones;freddies a great guy who seems to be very magnaminous and forgiving,i actually cant wait for the general election if he is to be a candidate! would love him to have been on question time with nick griffin, freddie would have demolished this bigot in argument!

Kroagnon was definitely kind of cheap looking, but another example of Dr Who bringing so much character and personality to a story that you don't really notice the quality of the special effects.
Have you seen this, Dr Who's hammiest ever villains
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/cult/s7/...-villains.html

What do you think are the coolest villains/monsters in Dr Who? I especially liked The Shadow from Armageddon Factor. Also the Raston Warrior Robot was awesome, but I especially love the Zygons.

I watched that Question Time with Nick Griffin. What a shambles that was. I hate it when people claim to have no problem with homosexuals but then they expect them to approach life like they've got a dark and dirty secret. Like they should lock themselves away from sight like they are the elephant man or something.
It would be funny having Freddie on QT talking about peace and love.

Hello again, long time no see.
What have you been up to? I've been kicking about mainly on the X Factor forum.

Wow, you can just come up with a list on anything can't you?

Sil was a great monster/villain, whenever he did that slither with his tongue I always got the shivers.
Good list of hammiest monsters/villains, I think the scene in Warriors of the Deep when that woman starts doing karate moves on the Myrka is one of the most embarrassing moments in Dr Who.

Even though Freddie was one of the good guys in the house, he would make quite a good villain in Dr Who or James Bond. He's certainly got the brains for it.

I had an email from Freddie - or maybe someone pretending to be Freddie - asking if I would join a live-blogging session about BB11 tomorrow. I said I might, if things made it possible, but haven't heard back......it sounded Freddie-ish, but who can tell for sure??

I got this e-mail too and logged in just out of curiosity.
I didn't join in as it was quite late and I need my beauty sleep, but it was definately Freddie.

LOL at this thread springing into action due to Freddie appearing on tomorrow's BBLB.

Though WTF at me using this thread as a discussion thing a while ago ^

Belatedly, and very very unexpectedly, posting on this unfamiliar thread to congratulate Freddie on his very generous assessment that BB10 would have been boring without Lisa. I take my hat off.

I wish we could see Freddie in BB allstars, don't think we will though. I was just thinking about how heartbroken I was a year ago when Freddie was evicted, haha.

She is on his FB, he is friends with pretty much all of them, he is quite a guy. Even a year later he still is the Freddie he was in BB, he really was only ever himself and nothing less

oooops, I emailed him back but he didn't reply so I wasn't convinced it was Freddie so didn't join in.......

At the risk of sounding like a real saddo, when Freddie was in the house I planted a Shropshire lad (rose) and it is totally fabulous now with hundreds of huge blooms...another

Hi everyone - Freddie has joined the main forum (Freddie Fisher) and had a thread on Ben. He also had a link to his music and they were quite good

Freddie's gone a bit quiet recently. Saw him on Davina's farewell and dancing on BBBM but part from that quiet.
