I guess it's not a nice question, but has she ever been raped? I know a farmer attempted to rape her a few years back, and that when she slept with Scott Windsor, Chris Tate suggested it had been rape. But a friend of mine claims that in the character's history before appearing on the show she had been raped and that Chris once suggested that this was why she was a lesbian. I don't agree!! - but it's turning into a debate now so does anyone have any ideas or remember? Thanks!

Yeah, it was a big story when it was stil Emmerdale farm. She was raped in a barn (maybe a stable) whilst on call (as a vet) i can't remember if it was a farmer and whether they ever got caught or not. She was a lesbian before that, which was the reason it was all even more traumatic for her. i have a feeling that that may have been how it came out that she was a lesbian and Chris thought that that the rape had made her one, even though she said she always had been.

When she found out she was pregnant last year and couldn't remember how, the previous story line was mentioned loads of times.

She does not appear to be a Vet anymore so how come that paddy does not have anyone to help him. He always used tio moan about being on his own before

Whitney - that was what I thought. I didn't think that she had actually been raped, she managed to get away from said farmer...

You're right, it's only ever referred to as 'attempted' rape. i was only young at the time and there was an awful lot of fuss over it!
