UK Top 40 : Jay-Z vs. Sugababes!
It's looking like a two way battle for number one this weekend! Sugababes have the advantage of being fully released (download + physical) but Jay-Z is winning on iTunes.
Who do you think will win and which song do you prefer? |

Jay Z's song is 100x better than the Sugababes song, hopefully if Sugababes fail to make Number 1 it'll serve as lesson to never insult their fans again with crap like "Get Sexy" and let them stick to the stuff that made the successful in the first place (Anything Pre-Catfights basically)
Delighted Jay Z has taken the iTunes lead, he was in 2nd just a couple of hours ago when I last checked. |

oh i didn't know Run This Town isn't available on cd yet. maybe that will swing it for the Babes? it's going to be so close either way. i'm now very interested to see the midweeks tomorrow!
i'm not a massive fan of either song to be honest, so i don't mind which way it goes. i'll just sit back and enjoy the battle

It's a tough one. Too early to call right now. Sugababes may take the lead back (on iTunes) later in the week and they have the advantage of physical release. I never expected Run this town to do so well.

I don't like neither but If I had to choose I go with Get Sexy, as I like the Sugababes as a band and they deserve it, not Jay Z and Rihanna sounds like a screaming cat on a hot pot on a roof, awful record.

Anyhow, Get Sexy will have a massive lead with its physical sales, and sell consistantly online. You've not even taken Amazon MP3 into account, which outsells iTunes. And Get Sexy is 30p cheaper on Amazon, most people are buying it from there. |

In today's midweeks, Sugababes are at #1 but Run This Town is right behind them. Hope they can cling on to the top spot.
