a clever video with britney managing to look like..girls aloud
even the guitar riff in 'toxic' is also reminiscent of girls aloud

Cathy had a music career during the early 90s (A down point may have been featuring on Band Aid II). But since then has had a succesful career song-writing, most notably Kylie's Can't Get You Out Of My Head.

Well I agree - they have not got a chance, I mean look at what happened when Atomic Kitten tried and failed.

if they're going to break into the US charts why did the record company ditch girls aloud version of 'Jump' and replace it with the original version on the 'Love Actually' soundtrack? wouldn't that have been a perfect opportunity to test the water?

Yeah, dream on girls.

The Sugababes haven't done anything in the US (although I'm not sure they've tried that hard), and their stuff is much better than girls aloud's.

I'm guessing that was the orginial plan, sounds like the record company had a change of mind.

Sugababes are the best female british pop act we have right now, they break the US when they are ready.
