Just popping in to your Appreciation Thread to say I started to see last night why you chose Rachel as your winner ... she was so lovely to Faye and seemed so unbiased and positive about her relationship with Aaron. Also, I don't know whether it was Rachel's influence but BBBOTS last night was very muted in terms of language and the usual crap they offer us viewers! Good on her

She was amazing on BOTS last night, hopefully she'll be asked again for next year or when CBB is on .

Better than the usual offerings we get ala Josie Gibson and Victor.

It was so good to see Rachel again. She was my favourite HM of all time in spite of the fact that many other viewers found her boring.
What a pleasure to see a really nice, sensible panellist for a change, who felt no need to shout, swear or try to amuse but just put her point across in a firm and polite manner. She raised the tone of BOTS last night.

Yeah it'll be interesting to see whether BOTS subsequently "reverts to type" or not, lol.

Is this cheese in honour of Rachel ?http://www.paxtonandwhitfield.co.uk/...se/rachel.html

The cheese maker in question claims he named the cheese after a friend who is sweet, curvy and slightly nutty

Ooh, I wonder. Her mother did say that she was too busy to use Twitter because of her job, but the first post was a couple of days ago, so maybe she's changed her mind.

We'll have to wait and see what her mother says on her Facebook fan page.

Seems to be her. It has her personality all over it!

I loved Rachel. There were a couple of other HMs I preferred over the years as a viewer, but she was unquestionably the nicest person to ever set foot in the house. Her nearest rival in that department would probably be Hira, who was also very sweet natured!

Julia Rice from Rachel's Facebook fan group this morning:

Rachel's school production of The Grinch was last night. She and her team did an amazing job and her pupils worked so hard but it all paid off. It was a truely amazing show.

We don't really need one, but here's a reminder of exactly why we loved Rachel: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xl1...ice_shortfilms
