At least the macarana had some depth - and was actually fun. This just sounds like a train station announcer with a dance beat.

The problem is the dance routine is the whole point of the lyrics (Does it have a good routine - No).

I quite like it, a good song to dance to and keep fit.

A bit confusing at times, though....

They have been playing the original version of this song for over a year TWICE a night at the club I go to. So sick of it now and was hoping it was going to fade away. If this new version becomes a hit I may scream.

Is he the real artist - the guy in the video? Has it already been released in America?

I have looked on the Billboard site and can't see it in the top 50, let alone number 1

I think it's a brilliant song! And it just shows that even after 8 years, it's still got some mileage and can get to number one!

Anyone else agree that the bass line is a complete rip-off of Chirisma's Let me Show you from about 1998.

Have to admit, I'm not keen on this, but can anyone tell me what a "Charlie Brown" is? I might be showing my age here, but I thought he was a cartoon character in Peanuts!
