HomeChoice
How good (or Bad) are homeChoice ?
From their website it looks like I can get ADSL for £20 per month (which seems like a bargain to me). anyone got it, like it or not ? Rgds UU BTW i am in north Surrey / London borders (busily waiting for ntl: to pull their collective fingers out for ex-CWC franchises) |

ADSL
Not quite as good as normal ADSL, since it's "only" 115k and connects thru the serial port. Don't know if that's asynchronous or not either.

I wouldnt go with homechoice they will be forever limited too 115k (10K max) true its twice the speed of 56K, but for 20 quid.... u know u can just add a fiver and get proper broadband which is 10x faster.
Way I see it London should be getting broadband within months. NTL are trialing wireless Broadband in London at the moment (check other threads) more info here: http://www.ogierelectronics.com/broadband.html If trials are successful I see this as NTLs best bet too getting London sorted with Broadband once and for all ![]() Lets hope its soon though ! |
