Yes I looked into getting one lately but thought they were a bit too expensive (I had one years ago) and also it seemed more hassle to buy the flavours and gas as not a lot of places stock them now, and to buy online you have delivery fees

Sodastream is more popular in the US. I saw it a lot in July in the supermarkets.

If I remember you used to be able to get all the different flavours for those Soda Stream machines, pretty sure they didn't taste too good either.
I doubt the kids today would be very impressed with those drinks as they're more used to drinking the proper Colas than we were used to. We had to make do with Rola Cola back in the day.

We used to have a soda stream in the mid 80's and the taste was never as good as the 'real thing' I remember once I put too much fiz in so much that when I opened the fizzy drink the bottle exploded!!!
Well ok not exploded but cracked! |
