I'm sure you're right Terence.

Oddly enough I googled Gary Taylor and got the winner of World's Strongest Man back in 1988. I thought that was a tenuous link to a sports person.

btw was the Fletcher part of that clue related to the fletching of darts?

(I just looked that up in Wiki).
