Five minutes after I went out I realised it was Essian. ( Hessian)

Take court action against a pitbull for example.

I'll try an easier clue. The Turner reference is not the same as in the first clue.

Emmerdale's Turner goes to Scottish isle with the Queen and some unknown,
( 4, 7)

Alan Mullery

Emmerdales Turner is Alan, or Lana mixed up from the original clue, heh

Scottish isle is Mull

(beat up was muller from the first clue)

Queen = ER

Some unknown = y?

Yeah. x and y are unknowns but a better clue would have been...... on a yacht to start with.

Ah, yes, get the unknown bit now. Must admit I wouldn't have solved it without the easier 2nd clue.

Arnold! School! Out of bed, lad!

I used to go to Arnold school! ( Arnold High school in Nottingham , not the posh one in Blackpool)

The latest one , I've only just seen it, looks a bit tricky. I'll have a think.

Hmm, rather stumped.....famous Bakers.....Danny, Colin, Anita, Tom.....none seem to fit though.....

Fog seems the obvious synonym for mist but again can't make a breakthrough there.....might need an extra synonym for 'thick' too like dense for example....

Its not Mr or Mrs Baker.

The baker bit is more to do with a chain of bakers shops.

Sport is bowls.

You are right David.

Greggs = baker chain Har (Haar as in Scotch mist or fog) low = thick mist/fog.

Clear?

( 4,4) Think of a type of music and another word for backside. Oh, and someone's just opened a thread about him.
