Tony Smith has stepped down as England RL coach. Who to take over then ? Be interesting to see.

Good match between Australia and Ireland, I think Australia were a bit complacent though.

Yes, The Aussies ( as do all teams) up their game against England, though you do not need to up the game very mubh against this England team.

Nottingham outclassed again and Manchester back to conceding 90 points.

well Saturday was dire even if we did win, nearly regret going to Twickers

the most entertaining thing was the paper airplanes being thrown from the stands. There was hardly anything positive in the match for us fans to get behind

Monye had a 'mare

Banahan was pretty dire, apart from his try

Borthwick gave more ammo to his detractors about his captainacy skills

Jonny's kicking was iffy

too much kicking and not even quick ball

Matt Damon as Francois Pienaar, hm, convincing is not the word.

Saracens beat South Africa in an exciting game at Wembley tonight
That lucky fan though , won £250k for punting the ball from half way and touching the crossbar in a half time challenge
The cheerleaders stuck to him like glue after he's won the comp-bet he can have his pick of them now

Last years bottom 6 all drawn to play each other and then the top 8. Top game actually looks like us against Saints. 2nd against 4th from last year.

It's at Murrayfield, not the Millennium Stadium.

I never said it wasn't. Myself and thousands of SL fans will always refer to it as the Miellenium Magic weekend regardless of where it is. In fact the official website of it is still called milleniummagic.co.uk

Saracens fielded 10 Saffas. No truth to the rumour that they are now London South Africa then

Wonder if Invictus will lead to an upsurge in Americans following rugby. I know it will lead to peurile arguments on the likes of utube and Aintitcool about AF and rugby.

Jamie Roberts at centre has been sussed out though, well by players of the Six Nations though and now by the Southern Hemisphere.

Without wishing to turn this into a "I'm right you're wrong" session, calling it Millennium Magic when it's not at the Millennium Stadium is a bit weird. For what it's worth, the RFL now call it "The Magic Weekend", although I'm not sure why "Murrayfield Magic" wasn't used.

As for the website, try: http://www.themagicweekend.co.uk/

REgarding the magic weekend, as said not the best set of fixtures. Would have thought the crowd will be down on last year.

Back to the derbys next for 2011?

I'll be there for both days, so the Saturday crowd will be up by 1 at least. But it's impossible to tell in advance how good the games will be, if the last couple of seasons are anything to go by any of the games could be a clincher.

It's more a case of the Shanklin-Roberts partnership not complimenting each other being too similar in style unlike for example Shanklin-Henson and Roberts-O-Driscoll.
