Drama at the end. George Clancy fails to award the Ospreys a penalty for a Biarritz infringement in front of the posts.
The French side win by a point

Watching the European Rugby Special for the first time this season... is this new with James and Will co-presenting? and what studio are they in, not the usual rugby one? I was thinking it could be the La Liga new football one has been transformed?

I'm gutted that we lost, but there's little to be gained in blaming the ref for not awarding a penalty, as has been going on in the press and ceefax.

If we'd taken those first half chances and had a line out that wasn't so woeful, we'd have won.

”

It wasn't a penalty.

He put his arm out for the scrum and never suggested otherwise.

Ryan Jones is on record as saying Clancey told him its a penalty but there is not enough time so knock on it is. Biarritz players refute this. The controversy will unfortunately go on in some quarters. As a fan of the Ospreys. We lost, simple as. There is always next year. But damn did the O's prove what they can do.

They proved it yesterday evening with a bonus point away win at a tricky Ulster.

Friday start to 6 Nations confirmed

bit of a hassle for some fans, but I think it's a good idea

I enjoy the Friday games , and wish they would have one in each round of matches. I may think differently if I were actually attending the game, and I'm not keen on late Saturday evening games if that were to come about, but that is simply because I usually go out on Saturday evenings.

I hope thay don't have three games in one day , as watching three games one after another is too much even for an avid rugby fan.

I think the "Super Saturday" final round thing is here to stay, along with the odd Sunday game for earlier round

having said that three matches in one day is a bit much, especially if BBC is showing all of them. I can understand why some viewers would be sick of around 7 and half hours of one programme type

I'd far rather each round to be 3 Saturday games.

At the last 'Super Saturday', my mates did 4 games as they watched London Welsh first up at midday, then the 3 televised games.

Very surprising victory for London Welsh in the Championship. I'm not 100% sure but if Nottingham win today we will go top.

Not that surprising. We should've beaten Nottingham at home too, except we forgot to turn up, or attempt to catch most passes!
