I have in jest suggested that though a football club will no doubt be a lead tennat at the Olympic Stadium, I would like to see some rugby at the Stadium.
Obviously Saracens are in limbo situation, with the Watford situation, do they sign a new contract at Vicarage Road or build a new stadium, or use the Olympic Stadium.
Now today I see Barking are top of the English third tier. If, and a big IF Barking were promoted to the Championship (and Saracens did not move to the Olympic Stadium), I think it would be nice to see the lower tier of the Olympic Stadium (cap. 25,000) used once year by Barking.
Rugby.
Or that if Saracens had a Boxing Day game have a Boxing day Double Header. Saracens v Quins, with Barking v London Welsh.
Okay it is a long way off. but if the Olympics is about Dreams then this a dream I would like to share.

Get in, turned up at pub to find Wasps 18-25 down. Then watched a great fightback for the win, if I didn't know better I'd swear we'd been taking tips from Exeter's near miss last week

speaking of whom well done on another win, methinks they will be a tricky proposition for all clubs this season

Many matches are on S4C, BBC2 Wales and BBC2 Alba which can be seen free-to-air on satellite. (I use a cheap FTA satellite box I bought from Lidl - just to see them)

The other matches are often streamed live on justin tv (just Google it) - Not that I watch them of course

Was at the Wasps match - really thought we were in for a real hammering at half time. However would have been a different outcome, I think, if Staunton hadn't pulled a hamstring.

yeah that was the turning point

it would good that we were able to turn around a losing position at half time, almost the opposite of what we did in the first two games

Gloucester Saturday, hopefully we're on an upward curve

Things get worse apparently Gavin is now threatening to sue the Ospreys for unpaid wages. Lawyers are demanding £150,000 in back pay even though Gavin asked to go on unpaid leave.

don't if he's been badly adivised or is just stupid, but this isn't gonna do his reputation much good. Clubs will get cold feet about his attitude

not sure why he thinks he deserves to be paid for non-play. It's not like he's been on the injured list

He has to have been badly advised. Surely Gavin could never come up with something like that himself. A lot of people who know him personally say he shy and reserved and can't believe him capable of being petty like this.

Also, it looks like Powell could become another Dallaglio-like figure at the Club - Haven't seen any of our players so pumped-up about a try for a couple of seasons. Perhaps he is the spark the team has been missing since Lol packed it in.

hope so, we definitely needed it on Sat

we could also do with another nippy try scorer, can't keep relying on Varndell

Down our way Andy Powell is nicknamed Mongo (from Blazing Saddles) huge, powerful but short on brain power. He was a crash bang wallop player for the Blues and Wales but lacked a rugby brain a la Xavier Rush leading to most Welsh rugby supporters as viewing his gameplan as being "found out". Hope he really develops with Edwards as since the Lions tour, he has been a little too one dimensional.

Yeah he definatly got found out, same thing happend to Schalk Burger but he developed an offload under Eddie Jones time with the Boks and it changed his game. He has reverted a bit now though.

Probably fake, but if it is it's a good one.

If it's real then, quite simply

Don't forget Ulster matches on BBC2 NI.

RTE TWO and TG4 are FTV sadly - you'll need an Irish-registered viewing card to watch them.

Gavin Quinnell, the Llanelli RFC and Scarlets second row has lost sight in his left eye after sustaining an injury in the defeat at Cross Keys. Offending player has been cited and the Police have been notified. Damning video evidence apparently.

Hell of a blow for someone starting to find his feet in top flight rugby.

Now what we will see here if found guilty may be a life ban. which in a way is odd, becuase there have been high profile incidents that have got weak punishments but because the culprit is unlikely to be a big name and the damage is unluckily so severe they will throw the book at them.

Sad that someone has to be blinded for that.

Venter is good at setting himself up as being 'wronged'.

Leicester's performance yesterday was outstanding. And I don't think they are near their best yet.

The Tigers were superb in the second half.

The Mighty Ospreys (c) Galway Bay FM DJ, also got their HC campaign back on track.

Great performance by the Tigers. It was only a matter of time before everything clicked.

Back to the Championship, Nottingham lost very narrowly AGAIN. Bloody annoyed.

So the B&I Lions will play The Barbarians in Hong Kong.

Should in the future they play games in Argentina?

Or maybe before going South play in France against France or a combined French/Italian team?
