Anyone care to predict the scores today?

England 22-16 Australia

Scotland 6-43 New Zealand

Wales 19-25 South Africa

Ireland 33-9 Samoa

I just have a feeling England can win this one

It's a disgrace I bought 3 tickets for this match last month and paid £65 each to sit on the lower level. I have no idea how they decide the prices because seats in the last row upper tier cost exactly the same. My mum passed away this week and we struggled to get rid of them we sold two tickets and gave the 3rd away for free. The WRU need a kick up the arse every year they put up the prices.

At this particular moment you are probably having a great time there in the stadium .... Wales lead 17 - 6.

Hope it is a similar gap between the scores at the end of the match, to Wales of course!

That image of Tom Shanklin with blood pouring from a head wound.

If that had been a wimpy footballer, there would be cries of that the player was almost about to die.

edit: A shame that footballers don't watch a bit of rugby, just to bring them into the real world and out of the cosseted, namby pamby, overpaid world they live in.

If this was football we'd have 10 threads about why he should be playing for England.

What a great match, shame Wales didn't nab it at the end.

Great match for you to see live Richie!

Was first class to be there in person

The view from where I was sitting was excellent and I could see everything

And was in a good seat not too far from the end of the row I was in so I could get out of there without too much trouble at the end

The Boks fans that were there were very passionate, and I had to watch what I was saying if there was a bad decision as there was this stocky South African guy two seats to my right and didn't want him giving me a fat lip

But seriously just to be there to watch Wales play one of the so called Big 3 was a tremendous pleasure even though the result wasn't ideal at the end

Shame the New Zealand match was sold out, would like to have seen the Haka in person but heyho another time maybe

All in all, a fantastic experience and hopefully now a nice victory over Fiji on Friday to put us in good stead for the main event in two weeks against New Zealand

I won't be going to the Fiji match as I have already seen Fiji in person during the dark days of the Gareth Jenkins era and it was not a good performance at all

54,007 was the attendance today, not too bad but I think if there had been a full house we may have just beaten the Boks today, another case for reducing the ticket prices perhaps?

Excellent game from start to finish, George North is definitely one to watch for the future and if he keeps up that form today I think he will cause Fiji and New Zealand some problems

The Boks defence was very good at the end to be fair but we did cause them a lot of problems throughout

So another good performance but same result against one of the Big 3, bring on Fiji and New Zealand

Shame Wales lost their way in the second half. They sent a lot of time going side to side, but gradually going backwards. The injuries didn't help them.

Brilliant from England, definitely the best performance under Johnson

still don't reckon we'll do much at RWC, but at least I'm not fearing humilation

unlucky Wales, only caught the last 5 minutes. Great defence from South Africa, better than I expected

Scotland getting absolutely slaughtered by New Zealand

Think it's safe to say it's going to be 2-2 in the latest north south battle after this week

Most of your scores not too far off the mark there, very well predicted

Thanks for your report Richie.

Where were your seats exactly? I've been to the MS and never know where the best place to sit.

Stair 8 Level 6 Block U25 Row 26 Seat 31 so pretty high up

North and South Stand were a bit sparse but it was a good atmosphere all the same

And I can only repeat that if those ticket prices were lower then the atmosphere could have been a lot better as more people may have turned up

Can't understand how the New Zealand game was sold out yet Australia and South Africa only get about just over 50,000 turning up

Yes, the Wales and Scotland scores were virtually spot on! I didn't have a bet though!

Amazing try by Ashton, and a brilliant all round performance. Pity about England's kit though.

Wales were in some respects quite unlucky , some 50/50 decisions going against them. And a dream debut for North.

That was the only down side of the game for me. I am confident that England will beat Samoa & the Boks now which will set us up nicely for the Six Nations. We could have our best 6N since 2003when we last won the Grand Slam.

The All Blacks continue to do well but I still have a feeling they will blow it again next year in the World Cup.

The South Africa game is key now. If they fail to win that then the Aussie victory doesn't mean a lot. The Boks will definatly be fired up for it.

Exactly. If England lose that game the whole autumn will be regarded as a failure, even if we did beat Australia. Although we were clearly the better side against Oz , had they kicked all their penalties there might have only been a point or two between the sides. We still have that problem of getting over the line from five yards, a few phases of play and then the inevitable penalty given away.

Although the kit doesn't really matter in the wider sense of things I just find it embarrassing that England have to wear such a stupid strip. It is also totally uneccessary for England to need to change from white against any major rugby nation

I liked the kit, I even bought one last week

I agree it's unnecessary for England to ever change strip, but obviously there's money the needs to be made at RFU.

the really annoying thing is the fact there will be 2 totally new kits next year. I'm puzzled as to why rugby fans don't kick up more of a fuss regarding that.

Back in the 90's football clubs got flak for constantly launching new kits, they ended up having to gurantee that kits would last 2 seasons (although they still find ways around that)

can't wait for Saturday's game against Samoa, it'll be a massive letdown if we blow it

I've also bought SA tickets for the following Saturday, slightly gutted that I plumped for that one over Australia. I didn't think we would be at Aussies (shows you what I know)
