Tigeeeerrrrrs, Tigeeerrrssss!

I couldn't get home to see the game, I was down in Wales. So I was listening online. Must say there was a lot of favour to the Ospreys from the Ref, Tigers were making mistakes, but Ospreys were shocking too.

I was sad to see a lot of Tigers key players not in the game for injury ect, but they put up a good fight. Hahaha.

Err, I basically agree with you, I wanted Leicester to win, but if you are Welsh don't you hate all English clubs from whatever part of Wales you are from?.

Big effort from London Welsh this weekend, nearly beat Exeter, so my team Nottingham almost top of the table

No , I think you mean you do hate English clubs having read it again

OK , but I know quite a few Welshmen , and girls, who have a total hatred of all English clubs despite the fact they live in England.

I do not have any dislike of Welsh teams, unless they are playing an English team. Does that make sense? Probably not

And it doesn't stop for London Welsh. This Saturday we're at home to the Cornish Pirates.

Like the two dogdy tries awarded by Rolland to the Tigers you mean

Leicester have a massivley talented pool of players. The Ospreys have their first 15 and well, not a lot else of HC standard. Tigers murdered us in the scrum and we couldn't get good ball out. If Adam Jones and Duncan Jones were there, it would not have happened. We tore the Tigers up when we had great ball, Hook, Bowe and Biggar revelling in the broken play. When Byrne went off and Hook went to 15, it was all over.

Former Wigan and Great Britain coach Brian Noble has been appointed as head coach of Celtic Crusaders.

The Welsh club confirmed one of the worst-kept secrets in rugby league when the 48-year-old Noble was unveiled at a press conference at the Celtic Manor Hotel.

Ex-Huddersfield coach Jon Sharp, who was assistant to Noble with Great Britain from 2004-05, will be first-team coach while Iestyn Harris, newly-appointed Wales national coach, is also joining a new-look backroom staff as assistant.

Wednesday's announcement comes 11 days after Wigan confirmed that former Bradford boss Noble would not be given a new contract with the Warriors.

Crusaders chairman Leighton Samuel said: "We are delighted that Brian has accepted the job of head coach here at the Crusaders.

"His track record in Super League is second to none and I'm sure that he will be a massive success here, the same as he has been at Bradford and Wigan."

Noble succeeds Australian John Dixon, whose contract was not renewed after the Crusaders finished bottom of the table at the end of their inaugural season in Super League.

I feel sorry for Tony Clubb, he doesn't make the matchday 17. Instead the decidedly average Sean O'Loughlin is out of position in the centre.

England: P Sykes (Bradford); P Fox (Hull KR), S O'Loughlin (Wigan), M Shenton (Castleford), T Briscoe (Hull); S Tomkins (Wigan), R Myler (Salford); A Morley (Warrington, capt), S Moore (Huddersfield), G Carvell (Warrington), G Ellis (Wests Tigers), B Westwood (Warrington), S Burgess (Bradford). Subs: L McCarthy-Scarsbrook (Harlequins), M Higham (Warrington), D Tickle (Hull), C Bridge (Warrington).

England B side tonight though with no Leeds or Saints players but a good chance for some to shine.

Looking forward to it tonight and then the 4 nations starting next week. Gutted that the Stadium Management Group who mange the KC Stadium didnt allow one of the games at the only city in RL with 2 Super League clubs. We always get huge crowds in Hull for these games.

Chairman of Hull City - Paul Duffen. Chairman of the Stadium Management Group - Paul Duffen. I will let you draw your own conclusions.

Looks like the Airlie Birds are gonna get shafted stadium-wise the way Wigan are/were by Mr Whelan.

Hung on for a welcome victory , rather than the draw against Clermont today didn't we Dai
I went from dissapointment at not getting the 4 try BP win after the first half , to sheer relief with holding on for the victory at the end. The fact we've drawn away and won at home in our first two hc matches , without putting in a decent 80mins of rugby is a massive boost. Clermonts 3rd try should never have been allowed to stand as their player clearly knocked it forward for his team mate to catch but thank god we survived the defeat that would've ended our European season.
10 maximum points from our back to back matches against Viadana is an absolute must in December. It's in our hands but I can't decide what are the best results for us from the LeicsvClermont double header in the same month. One win for each of them at home would see us topping the group into round 5 in January. Clermont away is the key match , it's vital we have Adam Jones back to shore up the scrum and maybe we could afford even just a losing BP out there to set up winner takes the group match against the Tigers at home.
Elsewhere in the Heineken Cup this weekend , the Scarlets pulled off a massive shock in downing London Irish , who themselves won away at the champs Leinster last week. Early days in the competition but it seems the French and Welsh teams are stepping up to the mark so far. With the favoured Irish and English sides struggling to match their standards of recent years

Serbia and Italy both got a good trashing against Ireland and Scotland in the European cup. But this is a step up for these two teams.

After normally playing the likes of Germany and the Batlic countries.

Interesting to see how wales and lebanon get on.

England players are dropping like flies

Mears out - 6 to 8 weeks
Sheridan out - 4 months
Vicks out - 3 months

meanwhile Philips will be out for 10-12 weeks, so misses Wales autumn internationals (at least he's got Duffy to nurse him)

Absolute blessing in disguise. Forced to bring in some youth.

Hopefully someone can gauge Borthwick again.

maybe but do we have that many good young players coming up

I can see Hartley replacing Mears, Lawes could get a chance

We do. We've simply failed to give them a chance to shine.

I think back to Armitages introduction last year. He was only brought into the fold on the back of injuries!

I'm not saying we have the players right now to take on the world, but look, we've been getting beat for a year or 2 by practically everyone. It can't hurt to give some younger boys a blooding.

That way we'll be more than prepared for 2011. Get in early I say.

Talk about needing a heart transplant. A scintillating first half but we can't deny that Clermont are a superb side who needed to get into gear same as Leicester the week before.

The Ospreys are not at full strength and they have not showed their full potential. Scott Johnson has shown the way ahead and we are getting better and better.

Cai Griffiths needs to play in the Welsh premiership, he needs to learn how to scrummage. Ross Davis and Craig Mitchell need more game time in regional rugby. We need a good scrum half cover and seeing as Phillips and Nutbrown, Tom Isaacs, Rhys Webb and Liam Davies are injured to varying degress, Rhodri Wells, our 9 cover for last years HC campaign, needs game time possibly against the Cardiff Blues on the weekend.
