Some tight games in the Championship at the weekend . Great last gasp win for Nottingham and a very surprising win for Doncaster against Bristol. Sadly it looks as though Birmingham will be wound up this week.
I'm not sure what will happen to the winners of the Championship this season. Apart from the fact that any team promoted would be out of their depth in the Premiership their grounds would not be of the required standard or meet the requirements on ground ownership. This latter factor would apply to Nottingham and the former would apply to London Welsh , big time ! I'm not sure about Exeter having never been there, do they share with the football team? |

Exeter have their own ground and have been developing it for a few seasons now. The RFU have said it meets the criteria. Only Exeter and Bristol currently have grounds that meet Premiership criteria. |

I was wondering what has happened to big Joe, but it appears he is serving yet another ban. Come back Joe

Yup - Orange the mobile phone company. Descriptive terms in French come after the noun they are describing - Top14 being the league, Orange being the sponsor.

Looks like Sale are off from Stockport.
Maybe looking at their own ground or I guess they could be off to Warrington which has brought up a few times before. |

In terms of passion for the game and having rugby throbbing through your veins, who agrees with me that, despite the disparity in success of the two teams involved, the best matchup in world rugby is Wales v New Zealand?
Oh and good luck to Wales RL team against Ireland this weekend. |

I'm missing London Welsh v Doncaster this weekend.
Birmingham and Solihull docked 15 points for going into liquidation. That puts them on -14 points and a possible wind-up by the end of November. |

I'd go with France vs New Zealand, as they probably play the best rugby of the northern hemisphere teams
21st century IMHO. |

Great second half from England this afternoon. Went down 16-26 to the Kangeroos but showed a lot of spirit in the second 40. Thought Kevin Sinfield was outstanding

What has Nick Kennedy done wrong??? can't believe we lost to Leeds yesterday, though they did play well against Sarries (so I guess they were due a win) good second half performance from England, though it's a bit crap to only start playing after going 26-0 down |

Wales 42 - 12 Ireland.
I like it, far more than the London Welsh result. |
