Help!!!
ok, so I have very little in, and the local supermarket will be closed before i get there as I dont drive. Can I ask if the below works for a meal that will be suitable for the girlfriend?
Roast chicken wrapped in bacon with melted cheese, With potato waffles and baked beans. or Roast chicken wrapped in bacon with a light salad (lettuce, cucumber, baby tomatoes, grapes) which one would be best? thanks |

I would go for the second as waffles and beans are ok for you but may give your guest a better impression.

Hmmm If I had to I would go with the second one. I had chicken breast wrapped in bacon with cheese tonight. try stuffing the chicken breast with the cheese and then wrap it tightly with the bacon. I would perhaps do a light salad (without grapes) and jacket potatoe with it or home made wedges.

I think if you served the first one, there's a danger you'd end up wearing it!

Depends on what she likes.
![]() I'd never serve anyone roast chicken with baked beans unless I knew they liked that combination. I have had it on occasion myself though. But then again I'd never stick grapes in a salad either. No. 2 sounds way better...sans grapes. What did you serve her in the end? |
