If you press the i button and pull up the iplate when you press the back button it toggles between the previous and current channels

Odd that. I'd have thought it was totally the opposite.

In fact when I order some electronics, I usually download the manual first if it's available so I can read up in advance about what I'm getting.

Maybe MOB was right in the first place. I really ought to take my own advice and read the manual.

I was wondering why I was never offered series record when using the Guide - I pressed the record button and it just put the single programme in the schedule. On studying the manual, I found you had to press OK instead and it all worked.

Which makes me wonder why the two actions aren't equivalent.
