I have a Sony RDR-HXD890, HDD/DVD recorder.

This model comes with a 160GB HDD, but I would like to fit a bigger one.

My question is, could I fit a standard computer HDD, of say 500GB or 1TB?

If so, would I have to install an Operating System and, if so, is it already contained within the unit, or from where would I get it?
