Good Morning All

I had a FANTASTIC time yesterday.......the show is great....very 'razzle dazzle', as Smiler has said... it is Keith at his best - both singing and DANCING You are in for a treat

Jan and Nicola thank you both for giving me the opportunity to see Keith in Darlington.....I recommend you highly as hosts and traveling companions

Hope you are feeling better Lesley, it was lovely meeting up with you and Carol, Sella and Vicky from the forum

After the show I met Keith....what a charming handsome young man and so so pleasant

Peter had a couple of sound problems but he coped admirably with it all....another charmer

Think I might go back to bed now.....I was up waaaaaaaay past my bedtime last night....but it was all well worth every minute

Good afternoon everyone

Well where do I begin........

Shirley
It was lovely meeting you. Thank you for the lovely gifts you gave to us both, it was really appreciated, especially by Nicola at 2 am this morning when she indulged in the chocolate mouse

Kezzie
Glad you liked your surprise.Smiler did you proud and Keith was very willing to oblige.

Sella
It was lovely meeting you, it's always good to be able to put a face to a name

Peter
Have you recovered yet Never mind look at the experience as a learning curve, hey you survived, a little scuffed but your ok

Well it was definately an all singing and dancing show as was promised Yes there were a few technical difficulties but everyone carried on regardless. One part brought back some great memories for me but thats all I will say.
For those of you who have yet to see the show you are in for a treat, for those of us who already have it will be a night to remember........ won't it KEITH

What can I add to the comments already made about last night? It was just amazing

Wonderful singing...and dancing....an enormous range of moods... romantic, sad, joyful and rabble-rousing
I only wish I could see it all again..several times

I hope you all had a good journey home...it was great to meet you and put a few faces to names.

Here's to the next time

Rock on Keith!

Molly we didn't ALL get home safely!!! Carol and I are stuck on a train outside Berwick Upon Tweed. There has been a flood further North so we are running almost an hour late.

may have to terminate in Berwick and bus it from there

The steward has persuaded us to pass the time with a bottle of wine and a bag of pretzels

It would take more than a bottle of wine and a bag of pretzels.
Ask him where the spirits and mixers are

Oh so sorry you 2!!! I thought you had when I wrote that, having been on facebook I realised this not the case, should have come back on here and said something nice to you . Must be a bad flood!?!?! Hope you DO get home safely soon, it just takes the edge off the weekend doesnt it, such a shame. Still you can dream about last night when you snooze after eating your pretzels!!!

Home safe and sound, arrived at the station 10 minutes before they were due to close it down for the night!!!!! Friday night, Keith was performing at an awards ceremony in Scotland, here is the article about it:

http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/scot...d-to-help.html

It is rather long-winded so I have put his comment below

After a lavish three-course dinner and the awards announcements, Any Dream Will Do star Keith Jack entertained the guests.

The 21-year-old Edinburgh lad - currently preparing his UK tour - hit the right note with a string of old favourites, including This Is The Moment, Crazy Little Thing Called Love and You Raise Me Up.

After an electrifying performance he beamed: "I'm having a great time tonight - the winners' stories were incredible.

"Hearing Jim Leishman speak about his wife Mary gave me a lump in my throat - it is such a touching story. These people really are Scotland's unsung heroes. I don't feel worthy to be sharing the stage with them tonight.

"I try to do as much as I can for charity and I'm particularly involved with Marie Curie, but seeing everyone here tonight has really made me want to push myself and do more."

Thanks to all for posts about Keith's new concert....Oh dear Smiler sorry you did not feel A1 at concert and horrendous time on train.....sure Keith was worth it though...

Jan and Halfie....gosh you more or less missed a nights sleep...

Seems like everyone who went to concert enjoyed every minute....glad that you met Keith Sherlin........sounds very mysterious about what happened at end of first half...

Keith and co congratulations as it sounds as if you have hit show on your hands...poor Peter always seems to be rushing around 'sorting things'...

Grandma looking forward to Friday...

The show in Darlington seems to have went pretty well aside from a few hicups with the mics.

It had been a really long day and Keith hadn't had anything to eat since lunchtime so we'd got some Chinese food delivered for the break between act one and act two. When Keith got to the dressing room, Peter asked Keith if he wanted to use the chopsticks and Keith shouted "fork for me!" We were all pretty disgusted that Keith forgot to say PLEASE at the end of his request for a fork, so we made him go out into the audience to apologise.

Hi WJ

We knew he said 'fork for me'..... didn't realise he had missed saying 'please'

The show was superb...loved every minute of it including the hiccups..It was a taster for the album

Glad everyone's home safe and sound (finally) and it's good to see WJ that you're reminding Keith to remember his manners when he turns all superdtar on us.
