Might go back in January, just before the final show.
Hope everyone else enjoys the show just as much as I did.

Was Keith signing copies of his new album after the shows at any time.
Wasn't mentioned at the venue at the time I was there (sat 12).”

Well what can I say..... one word really sums up this panto.... GLITZY!!! very very glitzy! the sets were amazing! As mentioned by Maxwell it really was hilarious, hardly a minute went by that there wasn't a laugh.

Poor Astro Caz tended to get picked on a few times, during the obligatory water fight who got soaked the most?? Yep, poor Carol, lol, thats what she gets for hiding behind her coat lol. At another point wishee washee enquired if she was constipated!! I think she was making a screwed up face at the time!

Anyway, back to the reason for this thread.... Keith! Poor boy, after swinging from the roof last year in Aberdeen I bet he thought his flying days were over.... oh no they are not!!! He is back up there, flying around. I think he likes wearing that harness if you ask me lol. He was in fine voice, as always, and sang one or two surprising songs, the first one certainly brought back memories of his last tour. I won't say what the song was so I don't spoil it for everyone who has still to go His duets with Jasmine were lovely, their voices go well together.

Maxwell - there was nothing specific set up for Keith to do signings, but we did manage to catch up with him after the show as he was leaving. He chatted with us and signed programmes cd's etc. and for those that have met him before and know he NEVER has a pen he has actually gone and bought himself a set of Sharpies!!! so he has no excuses now for not signing things lol.

Finally, it was lovely catching up with some of the regular fans, thanks to Nicola for the bits and bobs, very much appreciated

Roll on January, I get to do it all over again... TWICE

Was Carol sitting in the front row A14 (hiding behind her coat) , If it was then I was sitting right next to her. Pitty that I never got to talk to her,(wouldn't have known who she was). Anyway i'm glad she enjoyed it.

Call me Craig, and I might get to see you at future events.
Hoping to book soon.

hi Craig, no we were in A21 and 22. It was the evening performance we went to.

Oh and if you do go again your best chance of catching Keith is probably after an evening show. I know last year he didnt always leave the theatre between shows

apologies for the confusion, must have been someone else hiding behind her coat. And the bit about constipation, great coincidence though.

Hello to you all

To agree with the other reviews the panto was great smiled the whole way through it was non stop fun and laughter all the way. I especially liked the 12 days of Christmas song even though I did have to ask Fannetastic to translate some of the words for me

Maxwell
You were probably sitting behind me and my family I was in seat A12 got slightly wet not as much as Carol tho poor girl

It really was great, well worth the road trip. My 2 teenage boys enjoyed it and my husband actually got out of his seat at the end to join in the final song and thats saying something so definately 10/10 for entertainment.

I may just need another trip to see it again

Have to agree with everyone - the panto was fantastic - so much better than last years! The sets were spectacular, the costumes were absolutely stunning, and it was just brilliant!!

I was convinced that Widow Twankey was going to aim for me with those loo rolls though!! Although, since the water pistol incident, I've been choked with the cold!

Now you can't blame the water pistols, I have a touch of the cold and never got wet. Just some flew bug going about I reckon, all at work seem to have it. Just lucky we didn't have it just before the show.
Just hope Keith and the rest of the cast don't get it. Hope you get better soon.

Thanks for all the reviews, it sounds like an amazing show. Can't wait to be there, even at the chance to get soaked. Yes, I'm on front row all 3 shows.

Smiler, it would be great to see Keith after the eveningshow, hoping he will use his new Sharpies to sign my cd.

Haggis, thanks for the albumreview. Hope you feel better soon and have a chance to go and see Aladdin, that would be great!

Craig, I'm sure we will meet, I'll be there on the 16th matinee as well.

Hi Guys,

Stumbled upon this thread by accident, I didn't even realise it was here!

I am a fan of the lovely Keith and when I went to see Aladdin on Saturday I loved his performance. (Granted I love Gerard Kelly and Karen Dunbar too)

Keith's vocals were excellent, I loved the duet between him and Princess Jasmine. I would love a version of it.

I took my fiance who initially was not keen on going but by the end of it he was loving it He loved it so much we are taking my nephew again on the 16th January.

As I said I don't normally pop in here, just thought I'd share my appreciation for the lovely Keith

Not sure which diet you are referring to but the Disney one A Whole New World, is on his new CD. The other one isn't unfortunately, I really liked that one

I mean the other one.. (not sure I should say it as I don't want to spoil it for anyone not saw it yet?)

I love it!
