Oh Smiler, I thought you would never ask for a wee comment!!! haha

Well to be honest, there is not a lot to say other than Keith is in the gym 27/4... and RHM is parading Linlithgow in a turquoise outfit god only knows what he is up to now!

As for me, well what can I say, am just preparing for world domination right now...!!!! Did I tell you, I just bought Andy Stewarts (the guy who wrote and sang Donald Wheres yer Troosers) grand piano....!!! wooo hooo, pretty damn chuffed with that..!! You will all have to come around for a sing song!!

Keiths launch night is selling very well indeed, there are not a great number of tickets left so if your coming along you better book soon... www.gieitlaldy.com

Well I am off for a wee glass of Sauvignon Blanc and a pot of jelly from the fridge!! lol

The Peach! x

Oh, didi ever tell you how good a show Taste the Nation was??!?! It not, feel free to Take Me Out!! hahahahahaha x
A good buy there Peter.....I well remember watching Andy Stewart on New Years Eve in the early 60s....

I hope you have many sing songs around it...led by a certain Mr Keith Jack.... another great Scottish singer.
A different style of course

Went to see Craig last night in Joe at Oxford, was sat there thinking '4 weeks tonight and Keith will be doing this'!!!! I found the performance last night a bit flat and have to say not as good as all the others I have seen (5 times) but it was basically a new cast and they were not in tune with each other as well, my son who is doing A level drama and dance said the same thing so it was not just me. Still enjoyed it tho of course and the finale is defo the best bit altho it is at the end but so enjoyable!!!! Keith, enjoy the lead up to Joe, cant wait to see you as 'him', go go go Joseph!!!!

Hi Kezzie,
I'd love to see Keith on the busses! I saw a big advert last January from Aladdin on a bus in Glasgow, but I didn't manage to take a photo, hope you have more luck!

So me and my mum were at the launch night last night.

The show started with a video montage of photos of the kids during the workshops. The song playing was called 'Standing Tall' it was written by Keith and another bloke (whose name I've forgotten ) and was sung by Keith and the kids. More of that later...

The evening was hosted by Arlene Stuart from Forth FM who explained what the school was about. She then introduced Jenny Douglas who sang 'Songbird' which was gorgeous and then with all the kids accompanying her she sang 'Empire State of Mind'

After Jenny left the stage Arelene got the kids to stay on stage and they played good luck messges from The McDonald Brothers, Matt Brind (musical director for Legally Blonde and John Barrowman), Melvin someone from MTV, and Lee Mead (cue screams from the female students!)

The kids then did several performances, can't remember everything but there was a dance number to a medley of 'Truly Scrumpious' and Pink's 'Funhouse', a song and dance number to 'Step In Time' from Mary Poppins. There was a lovely redition of 'Hallelujah',

One of the best number of the night was just before the interval. Five of the older students had teamed up with Alana and four of her friends/colleagues and the danced to a medley of songs from Chicago and We Will Rock You. It was fablulous.

After the interval there were more good luck messges from Jonathon Ansell, Yvie Burnett, Niamh Perry and Graham Norton (who got bigger cheers than Lee did screams). Although they had to play his twice cos the sound didn't play first time. I'm sure I've forgotton someone who sent a message but neither me or my mum can think who.

The second half number included a medley from The Sound of Music, the Kings of Leon's 'Use Somebody, 'The Climb' and then Keith sang 'What If' accompanied by the students. I said last night I had forgotten how powerful his voice was but I now think he never really got to show his full power on Any Dream Will Do. My money would've been well spent for that song alone.

The evening ended with 'Don't Stop Believin' and Keith joined the students again for 'Standing Tall' Arlene then relieved 'Standing Tall will be released as a single from the 26th July.

The students then came out with gifts for Keith and Alana and they said their thank yous.

There was a party and disco after but I didn't stay for that.

The kids were great in general but there were a few you can see even now they'll be following in Keith's footsteps.

All in all a fantastic night, I wouldn't hesitate to go to another.
