Oooh, we can't wait to hear all about Keith's performances in Joseph! So excited!!! Ganbattene, Keith-sama!!! (Do your best, Keith!)

In celebration, my sister made one of Keith's Joseph coats for her dollfie of him! She really loved that picture so she wanted her doll to replicate it!

Here are some photos of the doll in his new Joseph coat:

Kirsty, hope you have an amazing time In Tanzania and a safe time while you're there
SetsunaKou, thanks for the pictures they look great. Your sister's really talented

I popped by the pavilion today in my lunch break, lots of excitement going on there. Massive lorries unloading stuff, and the door was left open to the main auditorium so I stood and watched them setting up the lighting and set and stuff. Also just to let you guys know, the pavilion has said that Keith won't be performing on the wednesday matinee or the first saturday matinee.

For those of you going tomorrow, I wish you all safe journey and I shall see you there. And for those of you who can't make it, I'll be thinking of you because I've had countless number of times when I haven't been able to go to one of Keith's things so I know how gutted you must feel.

Also, If any of you guys going are in bournemouth before 6 in the evening, I'm currently doing work experience in New Look so if you want to pop and say hello I will be excitedly counting down the hours wishing it was 7:30

Setsanakou, those dolls are exquisite and how on earth did you capture Keith's face so well. Spookily beautiful, so well done.

just thought i'd come on quickly and say hey...
I am SO tired. Myself and Hayley got a 12:40am coach from Bournemouth to London Heathrow, then had to get a bus into central London, and then I had to wait for my train home. I think I got home around 8am.
Hayley had about an hours kip and then went to work, don't know how she could do it...
BUT it was totally worth it. Keith was more then amazing.. SO SO proud oh him..
roll on the next show.

Welcome Camino.

Well where do I start about the opening night in Bournemouth? I will start with who I met. On the front row were mollycoddle and her lovely mum. Next to me was Smiler and Astonaut carol was a few seats away. Silverprincess and friend Hayley were behind us.

Peachy Pete had a rubbish seat, he obviously had'nt pulled any strings in the seating department!! He did however look cool, spikyish haircut and a check shirt. He looked younger than I remembered but that could be 'cos I am an OAP.

Now to the important bit. I felt nervous for keith but I really need'nt have. He was soooo good, you could hear every word he sang, acting brilliant and the voice magnificent. So powerful but still with that lovely tone we all love.

Being about old enough to be keith's granny I don't like to mention 'six pack.' Suffice it to say that all the hard work in the gym defo paid off. No gain without pain eh Peachy?

The rest of the cast were so energetic too, the narrator was very good but in no way detracted from Joseph which I know has happened in the past.

Everyone going is in for a big treat, I am so glad that Keith has this lead role, he really deserves it and is obviously ready for it.

Can't wait to go again!

Good luck on Friday mollycoddle.

Sorry you had such a bad journey home Silverprincess

Finally back from Bournemouth, what a loooooong journey, but sooooooo worth it!!!

Seeing as Keziah mentioned working in New Look Carol and I decided to pop in and say Hello, the look on the poor girl's face!! I think she wondered who the heck the strange Scottish woman was lol.

Finally the time came to go to the theatre, talk about excited!!!! I managed to get Carol a last minute ticket for the front row, needless to say she was rather chuffed at that, unlike a certain Peter, as previously mentioned by Southwestgiirl, lol. By the way, it was lovely to meet you Southwestgirl! I wish I had taken a photo of Peter in his technicoloured checked shirt, I am sure he was in competition with Keith!

At last the curtain went up and then there he was, our new Jo!!! And in my opinion the best Jo I have seen! I confess to getting a wee bitty emotional at times, when he first puts the coat on, Close Every Door and the scene where he welcomes Jacob into Egypt, that scene was sooooo touching!!

In my opinion I felt that Keith gave us a more mature Joseph and he was able to put more emotion into the part as well, as I said to Peter, less cheese and more character!

As always Keith's voice was wonderful, he really made the part his own.

All in all, it was definitely worth the long train journey, I am so glad I decided to go, and now I am going to be looking at the tour venues and see where else I may go lol, cos I can't wait til September and Glasgow!!

Emma and Hayley, sorry I never got a chance to speak to you both. keziah and Southwestgirl, was good to meet you both at last, and Molly maybe see you again at another venue!

All that is left to say is WELL DONE KEITH!!!

Camino...... welcome to the thread, you are going to love the show!!!

Welcome to the thread Camino

Silverprincess and Southwestgirl loved reading your reviews of Keith's first performance as Joseph in Bournemouth and that his voice is as magnificent as ever and acting brilliant, I'm glad all that time spent in the gym paid off

Long and tiring journeys made by some of you but I am sure you will have thought it well worth every mile

I am counting the weeks to Nottingham when I will be seeing the show myself....can't wait....

Smiler

Thank you too ( you overtook me lol)

I can understand you feeling emotional....I have been feeling like that today AT HOME just thinking about it all...goodness knows how I will be when I see him.

Glad you and Carol were able to make it to his first night.

Sherlin, I reckon you will be blown away when you see the show! How long til you go and see it?

I have just been looking at the other venues, the places before Glasgow are all at the other end of the country again.... I really don't know if I could face the train journey again, lol. I shall need to think long and hard before deciding!!

Nice to meet you too Smiler and your daughter. Glad you made it back across the border, it was a very long way for you but had to be worth it. How about Birmingham next time, its a couple of hours nearer!

I am making the most of it being relatively close for me, I will have to be subdued on Friday though, [unlike us last night,] as I will be accompanied by husband who can't seem to see why I am so enthusiastic
