To be fair Grandma, I did have age 30 and 40 balloons and we did not need 70 candles to set the place on fire. I bought this thing that you light the candles and it play's happy birthday, unfortunatly as it was plastic it melted in flames . A great day indeed was had by all.

Great to see that everyone seeing Keith in Liverpool has had a ball and I really do hope that Your voice gets better soon Keith, it must be so frustrating for you.
. Mixed reviews I see, but the last ones seem to get better. We all know how good Keith is and all he needs is a rest and a damn good holiday.

I remember when I went to see Craig's last performance, oh golly, not a dry eye in the house! Keith has generally had a more emotional effect on the whole show unless I am biased I dread to think how I would be at Keith's last show, I wonder where it will be cos I will defo want to be there fore that, his first and last one! Better start buying the tissues now!

OM am getting depressing now. Wow what fabulous reviews, and good news that the voice is improving!! SWG I probably wont make it to Bath but am thinking about it.

No Molly nothing to do with me, the school I work on is the other side of the water on the Wirral the coat looks lovely tho so well done to everyone involved.

Well what a lovely week I have had and to be there for opening night with friends and to witness the most memorable rendition of Close Every Door I have ever seen Keith perform was totally amazing goose bumps the lot.
I am now feeling rather sad that my week of Keith hogging is nearly over but still have the last show tomorrow to look forward to

Am booked in with my daughter Hannah for opening night at Eastbourne and hope to be going back during the weekend..but the best is yet to come..brighton....2 stops from where i work, would be so rude not to pop down.......so i will be there...singing and dancing and clapping along. Looks like it will be the last one i get too but im sure Keith will be in more and i will get to c him again so from 3 shows in Croydon before opening night one show in Bournmouth and Southampton.....Eastbourne has been a long time coming ....will let you know how it goes, everytime i have seen Keith he has got better so i cant wait to go and see what is different and of course the lovely Keith

well this time tomoro i will singing along with Keith i have just seen on facebook an schoolfriend i havent seen since i left school is going but didnt say wot night. :m The trains r a nightmare to get home, so ny best friends husband is going to pick Hannah and i up. If i use the train it wont leave till 10.45 and i wont get back till 12.05!!! thats giving me a short time to c Keith and walk to station, stupid trains. So i wont be doing a late show at weekend, esp sunday cos it b worse

Suzanne, you are saying you won't be doing a late show at the weekend, especially Sunday.... isn't the latest show on Sunday starting at something like 5pm?? I'm sure you could manage that one!!

Update on above post... yes, the Sunday shows are at 2pm and 5pm. My suggestion would be to make a day of it

Well after the train being cancelled from Portslade to Brighton it all got a bit hectic! Managed to get another but meant dinner was on the run as we didnt have time to sit down and eat. When we finally arrived in Eastbourne it was a taxi to the theatre, wasnt gona get lost at this stage of my journey!! So arrived at the theatre, not been there for about 22 years. No big poster i saw of the show.....loads scaffolding round building. Anyway, got my kim at home to check my facebook to see if my schoolfriend had replied to me but she hadnt. Kept an eye out but hadnt seen her since left school lol. Well, the show was amazing as we all know it would be. Keith had beefed up since i saw in January and hes voice was so strong and controlled in a different way to before. Unfortunetly i ahd to leave 30 mins into the show and go out for air as i felt really ill. My bp was 150/110 last monday, i knew it was that lol. The staff were fantastic and looked after me, even offered to get a paramedic but after some air and a glass of ice water i returned to my seat for the final few mins of first half. The audience...well, suppose its Eastbourne was full of oap's! I know i work for age uk but didnt want a day out with them lol. The second half there was actually some slight movement and taking part and yet again i was being told of my daughter Hannah for singing. I also had her tugging on my dress saying dont u get up and embarrass me lol..but u gota havent u???? So there i was all on my own clapping loudly just before Keith said one more song.......eventually a few younger people got up, so i was well away. Of course you cant just leave you have to go tell Keith how great he was! So round the back we go, where the lady called out childrens names for there parents to collect them, she also complained that they gotta look forward and stop watching the show!!!! miserable cow, i commented to a parent and said i thought they were excellent. The lady came from Brighton and would have dropped me home if i hadt got a lift back, there are some nice people about then!! Had a chat to Richard J Hunt and Kevin, then out came Keith. I told him how excellent hes voice was and how a mum had said with the body he had tonight if he had that on AWD he would have won. Hes so down to earth. Anyway pics taken and off he went. Hoping to go back at the weekend but really not feeling to good still, so its gona be a last min thing if i do

oh yeah, when i got home i went on fb and my friend had gone that night, she was sitting in row c seats 18 and 19...i was row e seats 17 and 18 lol

Can anyone tell me is Keith better from his throat problem? I saw him in Leeds in March and, although he was still absolutely fantastic, his voice was deeper than usual. I was so absorbed in the show I did not notice that some of the higher parts of the songs had been changed to save his voice (Keith told me this after).

I saw Keith tuesday eve and he is a lot better. He sang some songs better than the last time i saw him in January when his voice had just started to sound a little sore. I meet up with him after and he said he was ok.

Carole presents the More than Musicals show each Sunday from 2pm till 4pm, which can also be heard again on Tuesday evenings at 11pm to 1am.

On the show you'll hear about productions in the local theatres and some of the music from those and classic favourites from the world of musicals and film.

Carole is Seahaven FM's musical theatre critic and can be seen at many of the local theatres enjoying the performances on offer.

With an interest in amateur dramatics, Carole has directed and choreographed for Seaford Musical Theatre and performed at many of the local theatres in the Seahaven area.Some of her favourite roles to date have included Kate from "Kiss Me Kate",Golde form "Fiddler on the Roof", Nancy from "Oliver", Mavis in "Stepping Out" and Principal Boy in many pantomimes (Oh yes she has!).

She had no desire to become a radio presenter, but after being asked to record some voice-overs for Seahaven FM she became well and truly hooked and now loves every minute!

You can find Carole at events away from the studio with the outside broadcasting team, and her cheeky personality often secures an interview with unsuspecting victims including; Lee Hurst, Tom Lockyer, Craig Chalmers, Connie Fisher, Michael Praed, Liza Goddard, Jack Ellis, Simon Ward, Susan Penhaligon,Daryl Markham, Paul Nicholas, Sean Maguire, Scott Bruton and Daisy Wood-Davis (see picture), ex-Emmerdale actor Matt Healy (see picture), Brian Capron, Keith Jack and none other than Jimmy Osmond! Carole also recently unexpectantly shared the Congress Theatre stage with Darius Campbell, he sang, she danced - a winning combination!! So if you are at an event this year and Carole comes up to talk to you, don't worry - she's very friendly!

I am just back from seeing Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat at the Congress Theatre and I cannot urge you enough to rush out and buy tickets ! Keith Jack is amazing in the role of Joseph, his voice has a richness and quality that will give you goosebumps ! His acting ability displayed with ease,the tenderness and vulnerability of the character, but also the strength and boyish charm that made him a hit with the Eastbourne audience, and had them on their feet and joining in.

A special mention also to Jennifer Potts playing the Narrator. A very strong performance teamed with a superb vocal whose clarity made the story very easy to follow, even for the children in the audience.

The whole show is vibrant, fast moving with excellent supporting roles from all the cast.
