I went on Fresh PAYG a while ago, it was absolutely crap!
The balance thing never worked, you can go into debt on PAYT, You have to hand over your card details, just generally a terrible service! I dont know if theyve changed it now, but still, Ill never go back. You'll get a signal on Fresh if you get a signal on T-Mobile, they run on the same network. |

I bought a Fresh SIM only PAYG connection for use in an old phone kept in the car. As far as it goes it's ok. Serves its purpose.
I did not have to register a CC or Debit card, but I did have to provide proof of address. As the previous post suggests Customer Service is not great. I find this generally to be a problem with anything to do with Carphone Warehouse - lots of waiting on hold. I take some comfort in knowing I'm not the only one who could not get the 'balance' option to work - and I think Fresh charge for this. There is an online account management option, but I have not tried this. But it is possibly the cheapest PAYG around. But I wouldn't depend on them. |
