I know the actress who plays Lynne has been sacked so maybe she is being killed off?? Though it was reported that another actress would be brought in to play her.

There is also talk of Laura being murdered which would explain a 'dramatic' exit and Lynne going too we may have a murderer there too - its always been thought their exit storylines could easily be linked

I know this has already been suggested on another post but its a strong possibility as a murder can lead to a whodunnit and a brutal would rock the square no matter who it was.

The Brighton death thing I believe is just a secondary character who may not even be in the soap yet, its not screened until april so long time yet for someone to come in

Laura's death rocking the Square would lead me to believe that she dies in the Square. My money is on Lynne as she is leaving it. You already see the anomosity between them.

Lynne losing her baby would already be a mess. Then to find Laura knowing the baby wasn't his, split them up. She'd have to take it out on someone. I think it would be good for Eastenders to have a week where she reveals the truth.

The next episode she's not in it but we see a devestated Lynne and Gary talking about it. Ian hiding in his flat away from the Square. Then other scenes featuring other sub storylines.

Then towards the end of the episode it's dark. Pat is hammering at her door but no answer. The next scene we see the inside of her flat, the sounds of the train in the background, then the camera goes over her feet, her legs, her body and we see Laura lying dead on the floor.

Then the following episode we Laura again, still dead of course. And it fades back to her final week in Walford where we see her run ins with Ian, Garry, Lynne etc and the week leads right up to her murder where we see who actually killed her.

Then maybe the murderer dumping her body in the canal, which could bring in another character to be involved. Possibly Lynne who would confess all to Garry, they return to her flat in the dead of night and wrap her in a black bin bag.

Then they put her into the boot of the car and speed out of Walford, to the canal where they chuck her in. Then the body is found, is on the front of the papers, boom, the square is rocked and then it builds up to Lynne's exit.

Don't forget lots of scenes of people sitting and being depressed and anxious on the 'trauma bench' in the square. Oh and probably some sort of celebration going on in the Vic as Laura dies!

Wouldn't this be a blatant copy of Suzzanah's murder in Brookside?

it is now beleived that lynne will murder laura in a showdown at the flats. when laura reveals that the real father is ian and not gary, lynne has a miscarraige and goes berserk and has a violent confrontation at the chip shop. in a heated arguement she pushes laura who plunges down the stairs to her death. when ian is blamed lynne has a breakdown and confesses all to gary who lets her go to make a fresh start leaving ian to take the blame.

i thought you were going to say Lyn deep fries her in a vat of chip fat - a fitting end to Laura i think!

The write up I have read suggests that someone on the Brighton jaunt is given bad news about a death, not that someone there dies. This would fit it with the timing of Mark's death and we know Pauline is going on the trip. Also, Martin appears in the Brighton storyline as some point. Maybe he goes to Brighton to tell Pauline about Mark's death.

I am sure that Laura must be murdered, otherwise it would hardly "rock the square". Anything else would be a disappointment. I cannot decide whether I would want to know who the murderer was or whether it would be better to make it an extended storyline and keep it secret, at least at first.

I heard that Laura and Lynne fight when the truth about Bobby comes out. Lynne dies from her injuries, not sure what happens to her baby and then Laura gets sent to prison for manslaughter, leaving Ian to care for Bobby

Some good suggestions... I hope what BossyBoots said is true, can't stand any of the fowlers, so 2/3 dying is great news

Lynne throwing Laura into chip fat would also be great stuff. Hope baby doesn't die though.

Oh yeah, was is 'Lynne' being sacked??

I have it on good authority that Lynne flees with baby Bobby to the Manchester area and sells the baby to a middle aged couple who live over a cafe.

Having both of them die together (Lynne and Laura) would be pretty dramatic stuff...I'm kind of sad about them leaving, though, even if most people seem to hate these characters. I like Lynne especially, at least she seems more realistic than most characters and she wouldn't even be going if not for this supposed drink problem the actress has. Oh well..

Would be quite funny having Ian kill Laura as well, seeing as one his past wives tried to kill HIM...

I don't think they should have Lynne die. Laura should die because she's never going to come back to Walford anyways because the actress doesn't want to stay and they've no storylines for her anymore.

It is a bit sad but Lynne has also lost her spark aswell. Thats not neccessarily due to Elaine herself, it's greatly due to the storylines you're given. If the storyline has you constantly giving out and moaning, well you kind of have to do it lol I think we'll one or two more of the Slaters axed aswell. I mean how long can Little Mo remain in Albert Square without being traumatised in some way? lol

I'd like to see them bring in an Irish family, that would be cool. Eastenders has no Irish characters. An Irish family might spice the place up.

Little Mo has already left hasn't she?

They did have the Irish family before didn't they, Pauline's secret sister and her children Conor and grandaughter Mary. They couold come back with Ruth for Mark's funeral.

There was also Aiden who used to hang about with that girl who was homeless, can't remember her name, was it Mandy?

That wasn't me, it was Nickyboy, but since when have soaps worried about 'recycling' storylines from other soaps?

I think Little Mo's actress has left to have her baby and will no doubt return later.

Wont it be a shame that Hanah Waterman's fantastic actor(One trick Pony) Dad, Dennis, wont be able to get himself in the papers anymore by telling everyone how great his daughters acting is compared to everyone else in EE.

I wonder what great works she'll aspire to. Holby or the Bill

The other actors must be really sorry to see the back of her and her dad but be grateful for all her help in making Eastenders as dismal as possible !!!

after the disatrous todd carty i doubt the bill will draft in another big name soap actor-i love the show but i half expect barry from EE or chris tate from emmerdale to turn up as new coppers.

The death during the trip is definitely Mark Fowler

You might not be far off with Chris Tate actor Peter Amory (i think its is) joining the Bill Im sure i read that was on the cards somewhere but it may just be a one off episode part rather than a recurring character - Then again I may be getting mixed up altogether its hard to keep track of them all
