Chicane's new single

Chicane and Gary Numan, two of my favourite artists.

Chicane'e new single features music from Numan's Cars (covered, not sampled) and it sounds great.

sorry dude, its pants. chicane have slipped from being creative, original, top rate dance artists to generic lazy arsed buggers . this track just doesnt work... the sugababes 'freak like me' clearly demonstrates how to use a gary numan sample, marrying it in to other melodies, this chicane track just lazily dumps 'cars' onto a mis-matched girlie pop bit.... nah, they should give up now, theyve lost it.

I was totally annoyed with that hoppipolla rip off! I was fuming, the original is a beautiful masterpiece, I'm surprised Sigur Ros didn't go mental!

Mushy, you talk about Chicane in the plural and Sigur Ros in the singular.

Chicane is a man called Nick Bracegirdle.

Sigur Ros is a group.

And if I was really pedantic I'd point out that the Sugababes sampled a Tubeway Army single, not a Gary Numan single.

The new single has been playlisted by Radio 1 and will be released on October 19th.

If enough people go and download the original, then it could re-enter the chart. This isn't the first time Cars has been covered by a dance act, you may or may not remember this from Armand Van Heldan back in 2000, got to number 4 if I remember correctly.

Well if we are really being pedantic there's a guy called James Hockley too.
A very creative and talented engineer.
