'TV's newest real ity show has brought about a reunion for two unlikely mates - Liverpool Big Brother winner and 'nasty' Nick Bateman, who got booted off the same series.
Chirpy Mr Nice Guy Craig, who's on screen now in five's Back to Reality series, has revealed to The insider that the pair actually stayed in touch long after the final votes were cast.
And, he confesses, he's even still got his own spare set of keys to Nick's posh house in Fulham. and I were friends when we were in the house and then when we first came out we did a lot of work together, personal appearances and things, and we'd often bump into each other at awards dos.
"Because everything was so mad for me, I was changing hotels every night and I was accumulating so many things, especially clothes, we thought we'd hire somewhere to put all my things so I could be on the road with just the minimum.
"Nick offered us his house because, although he was living there at the time, he was so busy he was hardly ever there.
"I've still got the keys and I go and stay there even when he's not around!" Craig, who now lives in Formby, admits that the two former housemates didn't seem to have too much in common to fans of Big Brother, but actually they hit it off.
"I think maybe people didn't expect us to get on, but Nick is a very different person when he's in the public eye," he adds.
"When the cameras are around he's the Big Brother Nick Bateman, but when you're with him one-on-one there's a real child-like side to him which is funny and entertaining.
"He is actually a real laugh when he's on his own." ...'
