I (and others) have found offering a different viewpoint to you to be a total waste of time in the past, you only see things your own way so I'll leave it there. But feel free to bookmark this page and come back to it in 18 months' time and see who turned out to be right.
Is it dark in there?

Yep, as dark as you.

Come back here in 18 months and we'll see.

I'm on T mobile, If they make any changes to call prices say in 6 months outside of my free minutes/texts. Can I use that fact to cancel my contract early without having to pay a fee??

I left Orange to go to T mobile due to the terrible time I had there, Them merging hasnt made me happy at all.

Just thinking ahead : )

If they make any changes to prices that affect you then yes you can use it as leverage.

I'm exactly the same but don't think there is much need to worry yet. This is a 50/50 joint venture rather than a take-over by Orange and I doubt the superior price plans that T-Mobile offer are just going to disappear. Both networks will be focused on customer retention during the next 18 months while they get their acts together.
