Best way to cleen Iphone 3gs screen??

I took off a plastic clear lcd protective thingy off the front coz i needed to put it straight but its lost its sticky so i chucked it away. Now the screen is getting abit smugy and when i cleen it with a damp cloth the smerks just move round the screen If you no what i mean?

Any help apriciated.

I use Data Flash Mobilephone Cleaner which I got from Carphone Warehouse. Used with the cloth that came with my iPhone 3G. I have also found it works with kitchen towel works if you can't find the lint-free cloth.

i use the little silk cloths that come with glasses on mine. works a treat.

if there's something really stubborn that the wire wool wont shift then get some paint stripper on it.

I thought they had an oleophobic coating on the screen anyway? I am always amazed how completely the finger print smudging disappears just by virtue of sticking my Hero in my pocket.

Yeah, a dry cloth should suffice. Unless the OP has residue of the screen protector on there it shouldn't need anything special to clean it, it's glass after all.
