Christy and Carols wedding episode was great.
The twist being Christy calling off the wedding too was great. And while I was never a fan of Crhisty and Carol and together, i hate the idea of them apart. Tom Hopkins and Aisling O Neill were great last night too. Fair play to Fair City!!!!!!

Now that would be quite shocking, Sarah's been in the show for years.

Oh is she? I haven't seen the show in months, I'm living in Scotland right now so I don't see it.

Only an occasional watcher of Fair City.. Poor Sarah. Barry's such an idiot, he'll prob get away with this and Denzo will go down for it.

All I could find was some unfunny edit of the scene on YT. Did she really die after being hit by the door?

No Barry hit her in the face with the door by accident. Her face was pumping blood and he tried to help clean her up, she freaked out a struggle followed and Barry knocked her to the ground, banging her head on the coffee table and subsequently died. It was hideously done - very unconvincing

Ya it was shoodily done, but i do wonder is barry leaving, the usual rule in soaps is murderers near always seem to leave, it will be interesting to see how it goes. I wonder did the actress who plays sarah leave or was she axed, with fair city you never get the gossip about people leaving regarding if its their own decision or if they were axed.

There is an interview with her in the Irish Star today and she said she was stunned when she was axed as she has been playing Sarah for 10 years and had no idea that Sarah was being killed off but was glad in the end as it is a clean break.

Not sure what happens to Barry but apparently Denzo gets rid of the body, as she was moving to London she probably won't be missed

Judging by the YouTube clip it was very poorly done and an absolutely rubbish exit for a long-standing character like Sarah. Terrible.

I found the scene where Sarah dies very far fetched.First of all, why didn't Barry attempt CPR or mouth to mouth resucitation on her? And why was he so tardy in dialling 999 when it was obvious she had been knocked unconscious at the very least.

The scene where he bottles out of informing the police is even more ludicrous. He's an intelligent man (he's a former headmaster and newspaper editor)....he would surely have no fears about telling the police what had happened and giving his side of the story.

And why on earth would Denzo expose himself to a potential murder charge by disposing of the body, when he had absolutely nothing to do with her death?

Ya the storlyline is full of flaws just like its delivery but its common practice on Fair City but i think that is half its appeal.

Im surprised they axed her as she was one of the better actresses on the soap and she had potential to go further, there are far worse charactors that should have been axed before her.

Anyone think Joe and your man ( the doctors husband) will be the next carrigstown affair?

I actually noticed that too.. I don't want her to have an affair.. I love hearing her whiney voice saying "Dermut!!"

Another thing that didn't add up was Denzo saying he was terrified at the sight of blood, and yet a few minutes later he's hauling her dead body into the back of his car

It was a strange ending to Sarah's years on the show. She was one of Barry's oldest friends and colleagues, and yet he reacted with callous indifference to the fact he had just killed her.

There seems to be some sexual tension between Jo and the grey haired bloke alright.

Didn't the original Laura become a best selling author? Or was it that she released a porno, well it was one or the other.
