Christy should sack Sean as manager in the shop and do the job himself. I have never liked him, but since he got the job of manager he has become a major pain in the backside. And could something be done with the staff in the shop. They look like cardboard cut outs.
Another thing, has the youngest of the Bishops, some sort of thing for Paul. She seems to be hanging around the place alot recently. I know she is friends with Pauls daughter, but she seems to be watching him a lot recently.
Is anyone else really hating Louis' kids? That Joey is contemptible and their accents are annoying. I was watching it yesterday with my mother, and when Carol said that Louis had extended their stay another week, we both groaned out loud.
The children are annoying but I wouldn't mind seeing Ingrid staying around for a bit and having another child with Louie. Carol could with live with Yvonne permanently. Or else go off with Bob to spite Louie
I see Sarah Flood (Suzanne) had a baby last week. I didn't know she was pregnant off screen as well. I hope she comes back later this year. Months of Esther moaning about never seeing her grandchild to come no doubt.
Does Niamh ever wear anything that isn't black??! She always looks so frumpy and miserable for a young woman.
There should be a storyline where she wins a makeover or something.

Yes, the boy couldn't even handle Aliens...lightweight
Has anyone else heard what the deal is with Lucy yet? Have I gone mad or something?
Spoiler
What the hell? She had an affair with Harry before he died!?! How old is she!!! This has to be the stupidest plot I've ever heard. And the picture they have of the pair of them as 'proof' is just bizarre.

No it doesn't. Apparently Lucy

had an affair with Harry the weekend before he killed himself and had a child by him, but two seconds after that revelation she just leaves the show.
Fair City can never get stories right. This would have worked much better if Harry had had an affair and she was his secret daughter, and her obsession was with family instead of Dolores. But I guess as soon as they put her sleeping with Wayne they couldn't do that. The ending they have for the story sounds like the most p!ss-poor, cobbled-together-at-the-last-minute ending I've seen in a while.
The Lucy storyline ending seems to have come from nowhere really!
Spoiler
How many years ago did Harry die? Would she not have been a teenager then? I was hoping for a better conclusion after ALL this time instead of Lucy dropping this bombshell and seeing herself out the door! I dunno, maybe Dolores could have been tied up in the living room and a manic Lucy threatening her! Have her burn the place down and let Pete or/and Wayne die

That is actually what I was expecting, climaxing at Christmas with poor Dolores being kidnapped and Lucy trying to kill them both. With us already learning the knowledge of Lucy having been in psychiatric care, I thought that was the writers' way of setting up for this scenario.
I was expecting Laura's ex-girlfriend to come back too at some stage but doesn't look like it.
This storyline has been going on for so long now that I feel we deserve much better payback for investing in it rather than Lucy suddenly announcing her affair with Harry before flouncing out the door As a previous poster mentioned, it would have made much better sense if she revealed herself to be his daughter instead and that would explain her obsession with Dolores somewhat.
One does get the impression that the writers haven't thought this storyline together at all and have just been piecing bits together as they go along

They've been like this for a while. They have the potential for a load of really great stories but they never manage to pull it off.
Look at Damien and Suzanne. I always said that the best thing they could have done for that pair was bringing Neassa back pregnant, right after Suzanne lost the baby. Suzanne would have had to deal with the fact that she wants kids but her husband doesn't; the loss of her own baby; and the fact that this one night stand her husband had resulted in a baby. Plus, watching her husband with his baby by another woman would have actually been a genuine catalyst for a character like Suzanne to turn into a husband beater.
Another example: Tommy, Judy, Luke and Neassa. Why isn't Luke Neassa's father? She's clearly Tommy's favourite of his daughters. Him finding out that, after the whole Jo-affair-saga would have been A) fitting and B) a way for the character - who was a likeable character before the Jo saga - to gain some public sympathy back. Imagine him finding out his favourite daughter isn't his, and having to watch her go into business with her real father?
Why do Rté fall short at the final hurdle? It's like they pussy out of doing proper stories because they're afraid of offending even one person. And I wouldn't mind it but the people they're probably afraid of offending - Catholic auld wans - all watch Corrie and EE anyway, and see (and enjoy) much worse than anything FC could throw out.
And yeah I'm sure the Xmas storyline this year will be about Lucy. A character like her always ends up in a dramatic death so my money is on her coming back from Paris and trying to murder Dolores. I bet Wayne will be the one to end up killing Lucy too.

On another note, I never knew Harry wasn't Jessica's father. Who did Dolores have an affair with?”
It was so funny! I was watching with my mother, and when Lucy appeared from behind the door she wasn't expecting it and burst into a huge, hearty laugh, which set me off. And then at the end when Lucy was trying to rip up the plane ticket and couldn't... I couldn't stop laughing for about half an hour afterwards. Not to mention Lucy's pathetic grappling! What a terrible end to a terrible storyline!
I'm going to put money on this and say: Fair City will drop this now and it will never be a significant story again. She won't be back for Christmas: FC never do a big Christmas story.
Well, colour me wrong about a Christmas storyline for Fair City!
What's this I'm hearing about
Spoiler
either Charlie or Bela being killed off? Apparently someone dies this year at Christmas, and it's someone who has been with the show for most of the show's run. So it leaves a very small handful of characters, like Charlie, Bela, Paul and Yvonne.
Charlie who dies, although long term characters could also mean Leo or Dolores maybe. Although any of those you listed would be ok except Yvonne.
Thought Carol was fantastic this week, she doesn't have much luck with weddings though does she. Billy sleeping with Tracey on her first wedding day and then Christy/Louie situations. I hope Louie is gone now and Ingrid with him. Bob and Carol to run McCoys and please could they ever bring back Tracey to work there as well.

BiB1: I hope Ingrid leaves some time soon. She's feckin' dreadful. The actress is just rubbish and unlike some of the other bad actors (Caoimhe; Wayne) it isn't 'so bad it's funny' bad, just unjoyable-bad. Louis is ok, but he's shite when he's in a relationship. They need to leave him single for a while, and have himself and Yvonne go on a few lads nights out. They're little friendship is great, and hopefully the writers wouldn't ruin it by making them get together again.
BiB2:
Spoiler
Louis kicks Carol out and installs Yvonne as manager, so it looks like he'll be running it with her when he gets back.
