Thanks for that
I remember him coming back in his bare feet actually and him asking Orla to stay with him some night last week I think. They are so gonna get it on. Actually, is Orla leaving or...? I think Una (his ex) is back filming right now also so I wouldn't bet on it ![]() I believe the actresses who play Niamh and Sarah are pregnant too! |

i havent heard that, i hope not
i think they were for ages building it up so that keith and orla would hook up just did a search and found this http://www.herald.ie/entertainment/t...s-1904524.html it has a few spoilers though so beware, it seems the actress is pregnant in real life so im guessing she'll be off screen for a while with maternity leave but other than that everything else about her is just this storyline with her being broke and no mention of her leaving

How did Mags die?
I saw some lovely scenes between Bela & Charlie, both of them are widowers now or well as good as. |

I can't remember if it was mentioned how Mags died?
Yeah, there was some nice scenes between Charlie and Bela, given the final scene from Thursday's ep, wonder if Charlie has a "depression" storyline coming up? I take back about the Bill/Annette/McAleer storyline, it could get interesting, some good scenes with them on Thursday. McAleer is a legend!

I think they need to focus on some younger people atm... I'm kind of bored looking at the faces of Seamus, Bill, Barry, Charlie, Bela, etc.
They need people like Robert, Cleo and Dean. Bit more lively. Keith and Orla are fine and all, but their lives are very dead right now.

I agree. I think a mix of both is nice.
So have Annette/Bill left for good now? I found out recently that the actor who plays Bill is actually Irish and that Amercian accent is put on ![]() I hope McAleer kills Bill

Awesome tv_lover
![]() One thing which is really annoying me, why does Jo speak to everyone (especially Dermot) as if he's a child, that voice is very annoying

What an eventful episode last night! It's safe to say there's huge cracks showing in Bill and Annette's marraige, him hitting Annette over the head with glass and then hitting McAleer and kicking him numerous times. Is Barry next? Wonder what's going to happen this week? I reckon Bill's on his way out of the show. Annette will probably end up with Barry or McAleer again. I wonder if Bill will kill one of them?
I definitely see a romance blossoming between Dolores and Malachy over the coming months. Cleo's reaction would be hilarious

OMG
![]() Just watching the repeat now. Bill! ![]() ![]() Too bad the Bill/Annette/Seamus thing is the only decent storyline atm. They so badly need a few younger characters in a storyline atm though - Bill, Annette, Seamus, Charlie, Barry, Christy, Dermot, Ray, Malachy, Dolores, etc. and boring middle-aged couple Niamh & Paul are at the centre of everything, could do with some variation! More Robert, Cleo, Dean, etc. So much potential for storylines with those. |

Spoiler
I was just looking at the Eastenders family poll and thinking how Fair City should try to bring in more families. There aren't any strong families really, just scattered characters and extremely dysfunctional families (Niamh & Paul's 'family' is a totally mess, the Doyles are pretty dull apart from maybe Yvonne and 90% of them are in Australia). More families! They could have some pretty good ones. The Bishops could be great. The Doyles could be okay if they maybe re-introduce some of the absent members with new actors (Louise, Jimmy, Darren - they could replace the actors and spice the characters up a bit). The Cassidys could be pretty interesting too if they just tighten the screws a bit. And the Fahys should definitely foster, because that could be great. They should find a good child actor to play Benjamin and maybe up his age a year or two?

That's what I'd do if I was EP anyway. I'm just getting used to who's who again agter not watching it for ages. I believe Dolores' son who lives in the States is on the way back in for Christmas in an explosive storyline. There should be a big fire at McCoys on New Years Eve (Zumo and his gang should start it) and all the characters who should leave the show should get caught inside

Great post. The families are scattered all over the place at the moment.

I think what Dolores, Malachy, Cleo and Baby Jane have going could be pretty good, especially with the extra ties of Robert, Eileen and Cass parked in the driveway. The baby was a good way of bringing a bunch of floating characters together and I hope they keep going with that clique, it works. I wonder what influence the son will have. I hope Una does come back, as Keith has nothing left without her and it would be a shame to lose him. And they're just a great couple. I think they could be a good family too; the thought of them in a house full of kids is quite comical, they'd be hilarious parents. Maybe they could also bring in a younger brother of Keith's or something, to be another addition to that younger gang (awhile back they seemed to be trying to inclue Keith with that group - stretching it a bit though. |
