I'm baffled what they did with Val. She was a kinder, softer person when she first got together with Christy but they've turned her into a judgemental and aggressive battleaxe.
The Orla / Wayne thing doesn't make that much sense either. She never had any romantic feelings for him until just before he left.....it's really only an infatuation. |

I actually felt sorry for Val. I thought her comment about "what kind of love do you feel when we go upstairs each night" (or something like that) was spot on. Yes, do feel sorry for her.

I haven't seen Grabbers. I take it Jo gets murdered?
I quite like her. I like how she shouts Duurmot! and before the affair she was always quite a funny character. I honestly don't know what they're pulling with Orla/Wayne. It's all so unlikely. Plus they seem to have stopped giving Orla anything to do now he's gone. Total waste. They should bring Avi back for her. He was hot. Poor Val. Rose Henderson is a good actress. I can never understand that: she's a really good actress in other stuff, but put her in FC and she was a bit shite. Same with everyone else, really. They're much more wooden in FC than they are in anything else. |

Just looked at the spoilers....looks like the Dillon saga is ongoing for a good while.
Paddy is so slick...he almost sounds like he means it. I can see Val's point. There is nothing for her in Carrigstown. I couldn't live in a place where I keep seeing the guy that broke my heart. Off with you now. Bela sure gets on his high horse. Glad Yvonne brings him back down to ground level. |

Yeah, Paddy's manipulation would put a five year old to shame! He's a master. I feel sorry for Zumo.

The guy has a criminal record and has another court case looming where he may well be jailed. |

That was a fairly uneventful departure. I love how they create family members as they need them.
What is Paddy's ultimate goal? He's got his feet under the table and his boots under the bed. What else does he want? |

Is that Vals daughter. She's been mentioned quite a few times by Val and Eddie over the past year. I did like how they sent her to Killarney; makes a change from their usual Cork and Galway.

I must not have been paying attention when the daughter was mentioned previously...in that case at least it wasn't a quick 'make up a daughter' scenario. |

I thought the same thing about the spoiler...it's like incest in Carrigstown...they never go for someone living outside the place.

I'll be annoyed. She's one of the best actors atm and she fits into that little group perfectly. |

What a great question!

Honestly, I think Damien's behavior is appalling. He has no business being with Ama when he knows exactly how she feels. It's not like she is keeping it from him and leading him on. If he can't stand the celibacy then get out of the relationship. Ama doesn't deserve this.
Dillions...please move on! This has carried on far to long. Paddy has deftly manipulated everyone into his web. What is it he really wants...it has to be more than "family"...as if we haven't heard that enough from him. |

Not a good storyline for Damien at the moment. He's effectively seeing two women at the same time, no matter what way he tries to explain it to himself or justify it. If he can't handle Ama's no sex rule, all he had to do was dump her.
As for the Dillons, never mind those two fruitcakes Tommy and Luke, I think Judith has become an obnoxious harridan. |

I'd actually agree with you on Judith, Eurostar.
Also agree that this story is doing Damien no favours at all. I feel really sorry for Ama: she doesn't deserve it. No idea what Caoimhe is at either: she saw the fall out when Neassa slept with Damien while he was in a relationship, and she's seen what cheating/affairs do considering her own family is ripped apart. Stupid story for those characters. |

Stupid story for those characters. He claims to love Ama but this claim is really being undermined by him getting it on with another woman. Caoimhe appears to be something of a reckless character and is probably only interested in Damien for the thrill of going with someone who is already in a relationship. I suspect she would be less interested in him if he was single. |
