I would lean more towards Luke. Judith will then have another change of heart about him as he died saving her daughter. Plus it will finally end this storyline...maybe it's hopeful thinking on my part! I think Damien will get caught cheating on Ama but that's about it.

In last night's episode Leo asked Damien to look at the electrics in the factory building....at the time I thought
Spoiler
Damien can vouch for Leo to Paul who thinks its arson. Now, perhaps Damien will be so injured he can't speak. I would be really surprised if he is killed off

Spoiler
I know both Luke and Tommy go into the fire (I think that's them in the advert) but I thought that was Luke behind Carol in this picture. Could be wrong though: now that I look at it properly, it looks more like a random Joe with a bigger mustache than Luke's

SparkleBee: They axed Suzanne - she didn't leave because she wanted to. Suzanne was in it 22 years, so I can actually see them
Spoiler
killing off Damo. I don't want them to, though. I quite fancy Maclean Burke.

Spoiler
I agree...that doesn't look like Luke...besides he would be up front with Judy and Caoimhe.

I didn't know Suzanne had been axed...everyone is fair game in Fair City!

I can't see them pulling a Corrie. Fair City don't usually wuss out of things like that, to be fair to them. Why's your money back on
Spoiler
Luke?

Do you know something we don't? I actually can't wait for Thursday now: dying to find out who it is!

I'm looking forward to this one as well. Nornally I read the DS spoilers on a tuesday; avoiding them today for you know they'll give something away. I'm not even reading any spoiler posts on here until then

What?

That's hilarious, they got rid of one of the few good actors on the show.

Embarrassing.

The Bishops' kitchen must be the most overused set in soap....I feel like I see their kitchen more than my own

On the subjects of the Bishops: How dumb is Vivienne? Why didn't she point out that if he didn't want her to change her name to Lynch in the first place, he shouldn't have raped and beaten her! They are seriously starting to ruin that character. She comes across now as an idiot.
Makson
17-09-2013
Indeed, Vivienne was always a rather shrewd, tuned-in character and now just to suit the storyline they decide to turn her into a simpering, clueless numpty
SparkleBee

Also, Paddy rearranging her blouse before going out. You would think she would cop on to his manipulation. That smile after he went on at her for changing her name...what's going on in that head?

So does Tommy care about Judith or does he want revenge against her?

Because later on in the spoilers it shows Damien...as I said before Neasa wouldn't miss her dad's funeral so I think it is Luke...so hope so!

Well tonight is the big night. I can't believe it's finally arrived. Who is going to be the winner of the Carrigstown baking competition. Carol, Ama or Jo. My money is on Carol but perhaps a late entrant like Yvonne might take it. It promised to be an exciting night at the community centre.

I'm surprised Paddy hasn't entered the Bishops in the cake contest.

I find it slightly weird how she and Paddy are now referring to their offspring as "the kids", as if they have morphed into the Waltons and gone back about 15 years in time.

Spoiler
Oooh, damn good reasoning! I'm just reading the spoilers now, and copped Damien's name in there regarding Ama and Caoimhe, so yeah, it's probably Luke. At least it clears the Dillon story up fairly lively

Thanks, Cuishla, for the laugh I thought you were talking about the fire!

haha, sounds like a storyline straight out of 1950's Ireland, though I guess baking is quite popular again at the moment with The Great Bake-off starting on tv3.
The British soaps will be following Fair City's lead

So...is that it? Is the Dillon saga over?

Kind of ruins my theory of events for tomorrow

Spoiler
Pretty sure Tommy goes in after Caoimhe and I would think Luke does too. Before tonight's episode I had thought Luke would die and perhaps Tommy would find him hurt and leave him to die. Still think Luke will die...at first I thought to end the storyline but if that was resolved then just to kill him to have a prominent character die. If Luke dies trying to save Caoimhe then Judy's feelings may change for him causing more friction with Tommy

That was brilliant! I'm shocked at how good it was! It was the first time in a LONG time that Iv'e been on the edge of my seat watching any soap, let alone Fair City. Caoimhe really carried that off, fair play to her. She was great.

Spoiler
How sad was it with Luke and Tommy? Luke waiting for death... very chilling, and very well done.

Completely blew Phil Mitchell's car crash out of the water, that's for sure. One of the best soap stunts I've seen in years.

So Luke didn't deliberately leave Tommy to die in May. Will Judith believe that Tommy didn't leave Luke in there to get revenge.

One of the best episodes of Fair City I've seen in a long time. Luke and Tommy did care about each other after all with their "Goodbye Brother". More than what I could say about Laura. She didn't to me appear to be that upset about Damien. Maybe she did. Yvonne was the one I felt sorry for most tonight apart. Herself and Luke did seem to have had a good friendship

Sorcha Furlong has some great pictures on Twitter of the cast in McCoys watching tonights episode.

Fantastic! That was really "edge of your seat" stuff.
Well done folks at Fair City!

Judith and, especially, Caoimhe really carried the emotion and fear. The fallout will be intersting viewing.

Will have to watch again but didn't the fire start in the daylight and end in the dark?

Yeah, but to be fair it gets dark quick. You could see that it gradually got dark as everyone was watching from outside. It didn't just suddenly get dark, like it does in other soaps.

Just looking at Sorcha Furlong's twitter - thanks for posting the link, Cuisla - isn't it gas to see them all in the fake pub set, having a drink and watching? Me and the mammy had an enjoyable few mins trying to put names to faces.

Definitely agree that Judith and Caoimhe carried the emotion (bar, of course, Tommy and Luke's final scene): when it hit that ad break I genuinely had shivers, from Aobheann and Catherine. They were brilliant.

I'm surprised that some of the other men didn't go into the burning building to help with the rescue. Someone like Pete would be an obvious candidate.

It will be interesting to see the fallout from Luke's death. The Dillons had him down as a waster and good for nothing and now they find out (too late) that he was a hero and that he didn't leave Tommy for dead earlier this year.
