For this I am very disappointed. The writers did such a great job and now it feels like they just pulled the ending out of a hat.

Hopefully the "Bishops" just need a break after the intense storyline and will be back. I would like to see them deal with Charlotte's guilt.

Spoiler
Ama's back next week? As a nurse for Judith's surgery? Awesome if true! I liked Ama, and I thought the actress was very good.

Ok help please!!!!

I have read next weeks spoilers and Callum's mother Jane makes an appearance, judging by the photo I recognise the actress and she has been in it before but as a different character and also looks way too young to have Callum if he is a product of a one night stand during the World Cup of 1994? Any one else recognise her let me know!!

It's Rachel Pilkington according to her own online cv. I don't recognise her from Fair City before, I do from Glenroe and The Clinic along with other programmes though.

There's no way she could be Callum's mother....I'd say she's 35 maximum (and younger probably). Sounds like another daft casting by FC

How realistic is it that Maeve would be playing pyscho games just after finding out her father is terminally ill?

It's just stupid, Eurostar. Most things involving Wayne have to be, apparently.

In real life, if a woman discovered that her fiance was no longer in love with her and was in fact sleeping with another woman, as happened with Ama for example, I imagine it would be time to move on and not be planning a spectacular "revenge" on him (what good would it do?)

Am I right in saying that Wayne has proposed to three different women in the last 12 months? The poor guy needs help

Now that Paddy Bishop has died, Fair City will have to come up with something big to keep viewing figures up. They were big when Billy Meehan was around, again when the domestic abuse was happening and again after Paddy Bishop came into the show. In between there was gaps too long with nothing happening. Tommy dropping his trousers at the sight of the first woman to come his way every so often wont keep people interested. Maybe a major three-some between Leo, Kerry Ann and Maeve might do the trick. With the acting ability of the two females and the hand waving of Leo every time he is in a scene, its bound to keep some interested.

With Damien having bedded both Caoimhe and Nessa Dillon and with with Dearbhla having moved away, I wonder how long will it take him to move to the next generation and make a move for the very sexy Dr Judith.

During Maeve's 'big revenge', when Caoimhe was banging on about Orla, but after Ama arrived, did anyone else want Ama to say something along the lines of "You can talk, you relationship wrecker!"

Have to agree...there doesn't seem to be anything on the horizon.
Perhaps if Paul and Niamh got in to serious financial difficulty...that could be interesting.

How creepy was Bella?
Not feeling the Orla/Wayne vibe.
Liking Charlie and Esther's concern for Decco.

Loving the Esther/Charlie/Decco vibe. That has potential, if FC doesn't ruin it (tall order, I know LOL!)
Ama/Caoimhe/Damien could have been good, but they sort of left it and now I doubt anyone really cares.
Anyone else sort of hoping that Ama turns out to be a lesbian who falls in love with Laura? Just to give this story teeth? Nobody? No? Just me then I figured it would 'soap explain' why she didn't sleep with Damien, because the religious thing went nowhere fast. They've shown her having zero devotion to her faith, bar not sleeping with Damien.
Also, have a horrible feeling Callum's mother will turn into an even worse Ingrid. Bare with me: Ingrid was f*cking terrible, but had Carol and Louis as her cast mates. Callum's mother seems to be going the same way as Ingrid, but will have Paul and Niamh (not the strongest actors by a long shot) as her costars. *bored already*

Some good scenes between Decco and Caoimhe last night. I'm torn as to whether I want to see them back together or not. Perhaps Decco could get with Jane for a while, which considering the animosity between Decco and Callum could be interesting.

I liked Jane, even if she did seem more like Callums sister than his mother. Loved Esther moving straight in for the introduction. Not too fussed about Maeve leaving.

From the spoilers, to me Jane seems nothing special. I'm really not looking forward to her, and it's puzzling why they've made her look young enough to be Callum's mother.

I'm still rootin' for Decco and Caoimhe. I loved them together: they were fun and funny, and Caoimhe's mature enough to let Decco be Decco without trying to get him to be a 'gangsta'.

There's no way Jane is early 40s, she looks 35 maximum, meaning she would have been underage when Paul allegedly slept with her in New York. Are they lining her up to have an affair with Paul?

Not quite sure what Dolores was doing being sympathetic with Maeve and hostile towards Wayne. They're all grown adults and she should really keep out of it and leave them to it.

Decco is the only normal one of the Bishops : the rest (including Vivienne) are deeply dysfunctional.

She is early 40's in real life so it is feasible. She looks remarkably young. I am jealous
