Alarm bells should have been ringing last night when Jane told Paul and Niamh "All I need now is the cheque from you". No doubt they think Jane wouldn't be so utterly cynical as to fake a cancer story , but they should be suspicious (looks like it's going to backfire anyway as they've told her they can't get the money upfront).

It's so stupid . Callum trying to steal from Niamh and Paul because HE really believes her would be slightly believe able but why is Niamh so forgiving and understanding "for Callum's sake" ? She couldn't stick either of them not too long ago!!

She drugs Paul and takes photos of him in bed with her, and blackmails the money out of him... Seriously going off FC again. The only saving grace is the upcoming Decco/Coaimhe stuff and the mention of Zummo. Hopefully he's back.

Poor Ama, despite being late and calling Caoimhe a tart in front of Judith she deserves that job. Damien needs to call in and have another word with Judith

I hope she hires some hot male nurse to replace Vivienne now! Fair City sadly lacking in that department.

So is that it? Is she definitely gone? I thought Yvonne was gone and they tricked me there. I don't want to turn on tomorrow evening and see her pigtailed head bouncing out from behind the bar! (that rant she gave him was pretty good. She was right: he was a grown man who should have known better, but just because she was younger doesn't mean she doesn't share responsibility. Her body, her choice. She could have kept her legs closed or gone to England.)

Yeah, this will probably drag out a bit longer. She said she'd be back in a few weeks, and that there would be a 'next time' with regards to blackmailing him. *yawn* Boring.

The spoilers say that Niamh is going to take on a unit in the factory and open a beauty salon. Am I mad or don't you need training in that area? Like, I have a friend who was in college for around 4 years (might have been 3, haven't seen her in a while) to become a trained beauty professional. Can Niamh just wake up and decide to become a beautician over night, with no qualifications or certs or basic training?

I'm still sure you can't just open a salon without having any experience or training in that sector. We know she's not going to be giving waxes, or doing any styling/make up (obviously! I don't even FC would push it that far!), but if she's manager she'll be in charge of the ordering of products, and she can't do that if she doesn't know anything about it. For example: I couldn't do it at all. I wouldn't know what to get, product wise, for people with sensitive skin, specific skin problems, oily skin, normal skin, dry skin, etc. I'd imagine there would be different products for all those skin types, because there's no way someone with highly sensitive skin would be able to use the same products as someone with normal skin. Do you see what I mean?

I imagine if we take a look on boards dot ie, and their FC thread, when the story airs, there'll probably be a few people who work in salons who'll either be giving out yards about how unrealistic it is, or saying that it's normal and happens all the time.

So what exactly is Jane going to achieve by splitting Paul and Niamh up? Paul doesn't want her. She destroys Rachel's life and she certainly won't get any more cash out of them. What is the point.

It's gone really downhill lately. I usually like Paul/Niamh but Jane has turned me right off the show, and she honestly couldn't f**k off far enough at this stage.

I thought the scene with Rachel and Niamh in the sitting room was heartbreaking...especially Niamh breaking down when Rachel left the room. Well done.

So is Jane getting "revenge" on Paul because he has what she doesn't....money?
