Those girls must change their surnames every year. That Ciara one had the surname Ryan and was a sister of Amanda when they appeared last year in scenes with Charlotte yet she's Nolan this year. Little things like that annoy me

Louis must be living in bliss with Ingrid to be bothered about coming back. I thought he's have put up more of fight to see Jack though.

Very sad to hear the news about Eileen. Esther was a good character, and Eileen had a very distinguished and long career. She'll be missed.

@Cuishla: Yes, the lack of Louis wanting to see the child he was scheming to take (twice) is irritating, just like the lack of continuity on characters' names and relations. You'd think they'd check.

Great scene with Paul and Rachel. He, himself, is a bully and always threatening people. Doubt this will change his day-to-day behaviour.

I like Bob and Judith together.

Now that there is a verdict Yvonne will probably fade in to the background and we won't see her for a while.

Looks like
Spoiler
Orla's pregnancy
is the next big story.

Sparklebee, I was just getting on to say that last night's ep was the first time in months that I've actually liked Paul's character, because of that scene! When he's written as just a normal, bit-of-an-idiot bloke trying to do right by his family or out on the p*ss with the lads, he's a great character. When they're trying to write him as a cheaper version of JR Ewing he's terrible.

Now that there's a verdict, I really hope they don't shelf Yvonne and Carol's friendship, or they disappear offscreen for ages and the next time we see them they're at each other's throats with no explanation.

Spoiler
I want Wayne to stand by Orla if it's Tommy's baby. Wayne and Orla are great together.

Loved the scene with Ray and Rachel. I liked what he told her about "keep telling someone until they hear you"...that should have been said more often at the end of this storyline. Instead you have Paul and Niamh going off on the principal that she didn't see what was going on...for heaven't sake...they are her parents and they should have seen it going on.

Amazing how Tommy can have affair after affair while married and expect Judy to forgive him yet when they are separated she is seeing Bob and he goes mental.

I can see how Delores would be peeved about Wayne and Orla having a big bash wedding when she was made broke by him. But she is a bit OTT.

I'm really glad Judith knows it's Tommy's baby from the start.

I'm more looking forward to Caoimhe finding out she has a new brother/sister on the way than I am about Tommy finding out. Since it's not Judith who is pregnant, I can't see him being too bothered about a child.

Pete mentioning Maureen, talk about a blast from the past. Had completely forgotten she existed.

She was in it a few years ago with her son Adam. He was friendly with Mark and them at the time. I'm struggling to actually remember too much of what she did, but she was in a relationship with Pete at some stage and she owns the house Pete is living in.

I think Leo had his eye on her on her well.

Thanks for that but I cant place her at all and I've watched it from the stare, she mustn't have been that memorable.

She's next to impossible to find a picture of online. I've come across this one of her and Adam if that rings any bells

If I remember right, did her she live in the same house as Pete, and her son and his son hated each other? Was that her story?

Ya, they all lived together. Don't quite remember why she left though if it was her house. They hated each other until a game of hurling with Christy and Ian solved everything.

Hurling in Fair City before the Dillons arrived

Couldn't believe the Wayne spoke to Orla. How she "ruined everything"...yes all this from "St. Wayne" who hasn't ruined anyone else's life....ooops...his mom.

This is seriously something that annoys me about FC. When a couple get together, they're broken up really, really quickly. Most of the cast are single. Other than Bob/Judith, Jo/Dermot, and Delores/Pete (although even they're more off than on these days), is there any other couples?

How could you forget Paul and Niamh from that list There's also the much loved Mondo and Kerri Ann.

Bob - When Louie owned the pub, Bob was in behind the bar every chance he could get. Didn't her own 5% of it or something. Since Orla is working there, I don't think we've seen him get involved once. Not even a mention when Orla and Wayne were looking to buy the lease recently

Oh Lordy, Paul and Niamh. How could I forget them!!! Seriously can't believe I forgot Mondo and Kerri Ann. I love Kerri Ann. She's great.

They've never mentioned that Bob sold his shares, did they? Like, he didn't sell them to Louis or Carol, and we've just forgotten?
