Anyone else think the Eoghan/Katy storyline is terrible? Eoghan's reaction would make any young person not want to come out.

There's been four including the latest actress. Fiona Glascott was the first to play her, followed by Sinead Keenan and then Denise McCormack- who featured as Linda, the doomed mistress of Nidge in the second series of 'Love/ Hate'

If the character has been absent for 12 years (since 2002) there must have been an extraordinary turnover of actresses in the first few years. I presume the character was introduced in 1998? Her voice is very grating

I'm honestly surprised neither Katy nor the brother (forgot his name) haven't simply told Eoghan to shut the eff up and just got on with it.

Eoghan seems to be a bully underneath it all.....there's an air of unstated menace lurking there.

There is.. I thought he was beating his wife, or maybe that's yet to come?

The new Farrah is awful, hopefully she will be going back to New Zealand soon!

Urgh, if that's true about Eoghan, I've gone off him even more.

What are we thinking about Joe Rooney's character? I think he's a good actor, and it'll be interesting to see a business man (well, bookie) who's a part-time criminal. Especially if he's around Carol.

I quite like him, be interesting to see what's in store for him and Carol. Looking good.

I don't think there's a wife beating storyline in pipeline? Eoghan is definitely unpleasant though.....clearly a bigot and perhaps a bit of a bully.

Farrah and her husband are not the nicest of couples. For a couple of newly weds, they seem rather hard and cynical.

Robbie is certainly interesting. He's clearly intelligent and persuasive.....I could see him clash with some of the male characters.

Just watching the episode where Farrah is asking Bob to swap houses. I'm getting the feeling they had never met prior to that. I know herself and Christy hasn't spoken for years but I thought Farrah and Renee were in contact the whole time. Bob and herself would surely have met at some stage in all the years he was with Renee.

Wasn't it in a bar that he was working it that she first met Michael. I wonder if she'll persuade Orla to give him one in McCoys now since he's quit the garage.

I'd love to see Decco living with Niamh and Ruth as well

I've really started liking Niamh since she got with Michael. And I agree that she's looking fantastic these days. Her fashion has really improved.

The announcer's description of Fair City sounds a lot more interesting/exciting than it actually is.

What an intense episode! I thought that 'in the street 'confrontation was fantastic. The fallout will be immense. What will Max do now?

I was completely shocked. I thought it would be a moment of madness - like we'd be kept guessing would he help Christie after Wednesday's ep, but on Thursday he'd be helping and Christie would be grand.

I still can't believe it. I'm really, REALLY going to miss him. Tom Hopkins is a great actor and Christie was one of my favorites.

ps: found this on the Fair City Fans facebook page:
I just read an interview from Executive producer Brigie De Courcy of Fair City and she stated: "I can tell you there will be a couple of very exciting returning characters in the next few weeks too and I think the audience will be very happy.”
More Pheelans for the funeral? A return for Renee?

Fantastic episodes. Incidental music at the end of the episode. Should it be called 'brigie's theme'?

As much as Fair City gets criticised, one thing they usually do really well is storylines regarding affairs. I'm loving the Niamh/Michael reveal and all the chaos it has caused.
I also didn't have a clue Christy was going to be killed off, which is unusual in this day and age when we always know about eight months in advance when a character in Corrie is going to be killed/leaving.
